17.01.2022 White tern parent and its very young chick - one or other parent will stay and guard the chick for its first 10 days; then both parents go to seek food and leave the chick on its own.
16.01.2022 photographed this Red-billed Tropicbird yesterday - creating a stir in the Oz birding world- as this is the first ever record in Australia. The bird has been seen for about 2 weeks at Lord Howe Island.
15.01.2022 Culinary adventure - yesterday I was photographing recipes for a book by the LHI museum on Kingfish - I enjoyed watching Humpty Mick's chef David prepare this green papaya salad and grilled kingfish- then I had to eat it!!
