18.01.2022 The Geelong Lord's Taverners Group held their Annual Australia Day breakfast on Saturday at Lord of the Isles. What a fantastic morning this was; great speakers, great food and great to see so many supporters of Cricket and the Lord's Taverners Geelong. A big thank you to all involved and especially Ian Cover for his marvellous MC duties, Earl Eddings (Chair of Cricket Australia) for his insights into bringing 'cricket back into cricket' and for Clare Cannon (Launching Joe Darling Biography) with her intriguing insights into her Great Great Uncle's life during the Golden Era of Cricket. We hope you all enjoyed the morning and we cannot wait until the next event on 20th March 2019.

09.01.2022 -MARCH FUNDRAISER- Come and join in on our March Fundraising Lunch at Truffleduck in Geelong (Fyansford). During the fundraising event, whilst indulging in some of the finest food and beverages, we will be hearing from some amazing speakers. We will be hearing stories from the great Merv Hughes, how the season is looking from Stephen Wells and listening to the stories and recollection of cricket from Daniel Pritchard an Australian Vision Impaired Cricketer. All of which is le...d by the one and only again, Ian Cover. It is a fantastic way to get together with your friends and family to help and assist in giving those young and disadvantaged a sporting chance.
