13.01.2022 Uke of the Day! A stunning ukulele from the masters at aNueNue! The Lani S3 Tenor ukulele is made with a solid koa wood top. Koa is one of the most desirable woods used for ukulele builds. Koa offers a soft, warm presence with beautifully balanced midrange. ... When developing the Lani S Series ukuleles, the bracing was forward-shifted and redesigned in for a fuller, more open sound. Lani means heaven in the Hawaiian Language. To showcase the rich life of Hawaii on the rosette of the Lani ukulele is laser-etched with a series of Hawaiian petroglyphs around the sound-hole. Starting clockwise featured are: a fisherman, a Honoor Hawaiian Sea Turtle, a dog, paddling men, a hula dancer with a gourd, a fishbone, the Tree of Life, a mountain goat and finally the Rainbow Man. All-in-all, a great uke!
