25.01.2022 More veggie gardens: before and after. Dug out lawn and grass, lines bottom with cardboard, leaves and wood chips, then added sheep manure and straw, and now three months later it's producing veggies



25.01.2022 Four weeks left of classes and pt for the year. I want to thank all of my clients for supporting my decision for stepping back and decreasing my hours this year. Next year will be not much different. Although I am looking to add back in a 9am HIIT class (not sure on day). I will continue the Harrow Pilates, and Exercise Provider position at the HBNC. there are always new things on the horizon too; with challenges, walking groups pop up sessions and more. ... 25.01.2022 Months of training has paid off when I reached both of my goals today. To Finnish a half marathon and to do it without stopping, and I picked one of the TOUGHEST courses to do it on.It was the hardest run I've ever done, if you you weren't running up you were running down. Even the seasoned runners said it's one of the hardest they've ever done. Ps I'm pointing at the track in the distance in the last photo.

22.01.2022 Lunchboxes and plastic free food... After experimenting with bees wax wraps, little containers and mushy food I was still using more glad wrap than I wanted to in lunchboxes. The containers were driving us all insane as they kept being misplaced and it was a lot of extra washing up, and the bees wax wraps work for only a small amount of food types. So after researching and other recommendations I looked into the Bento boxes (and ones similar) and always worried the compartme...nts wouldn't suit the food, so I bought 3 plastic ones to trial as the stainless steel are quite expensive. So far so good! They are extra work to cut food up and pick the right types to pack and are annoying to wash.... however the amount of plastic we have cut (considering I wasn't using a lot) is worth it. We can now buy or bake in bulk and just pug in desired amount! Also, NO MORE chasing little containers. I'm not sure the kids will still want there fruit cut up in high school but we will cross that bridge when we get to it! Finally the other main reason is god health. 18.01.2022 Lots of fun and fitness had for us over the holidays I hope you're all moving and keeping warm too! Our toughest was the grade 5 climb up Uluru but so surreal experiencing the awe of our country. See you all next week as my usual classes and individual sessions resume

13.01.2022 Week 10 of term one already?! I have strength and balance class Tuesday at 11am, the on Wednesday I have Pilates Plus 6.30am and 8.30am and child friendly Pilates Plus at 9.30am. 07.01.2022 It was long run and hills day for my training Thanks to Mitch for coming to give me water and then pick me up 4km from home because I hurt my leg. I was so wild I couldn't finish. Feeling so sore and defeated I start to stretch and complain (even though I was proud I just ran 18km in that stinkin weather in the middle of the day) he knows me best and said ...."well aren't you going to finish the rest on the bike?" ... so off I went. fingers crossed it heals asap

04.01.2022 Sometimes even a 20 min walk on disk can really clear your mind. And other times you just freeze your ass off and hope for the best

02.01.2022 All out of my garden! Spinach, kale, garlic chives, parsley, celery, broccoli, beetroot and carrot!! Even though our little garden only tops up our meals it is still very satisfying to produce your own food. More garden beds to come.
