24.01.2022 304ss bar slowly being turned into exhaust flanges. Have had this job for too long! Time to get it out the door! These transition from rectangular shape ports to round, I used the loft function in fusion 360 to create the internal shape.

24.01.2022 This is a project I worked on which was installed in the new hospital built in sunshine earlier this year. 9 mechanical flowers and 2 butterflies. Each flower is about 1m in diameter and has over 150 components. The butterfly bodies were machined from solid aluminium billets.

16.01.2022 Different kind of machining job. Had to machine an accurate torso from a body scan. This required a fair amount of work in CAD to clean up before machining all done in Autodesk fusion 360 in the Mesh environment. Unfortunately 400mm diameter HDPE wasn't available so I had to laminate 3 sheets of 100mm together that were 400X600 and pin them together with HDPE dowels and glue. Was able to rotate it with the hrt210 after I jacked it up 75mm off the table. Cuts like butter but l...eft a massive amount of chips to clean up. The mesh was too higher resolution for converting to a solid even after reducing (over 5M facets in original) but luckily fusion can machine from mesh, just need to be creative with tool containment as mesh is not selectable in CAM. 08.01.2022 Few jobs heading out the door this week, couple of hundred pins and a custom flywheel I had to machine 3 inches off to fit the new ring gear. Ring gear ran out by over .120" but with some persuasion I got it down to .006" It was heated to 200C and the flywheel frozen to get it to fit then drilled for some location pins. Also 2 custom radius rods.
