22.01.2022 Made a few cotton fabric Olson pattern masks with pocket for True Hepa (High Efficiency Particulate Air) vacuum bags which filters 99.97% rate of particles as small as 0.3 microns for my niece Karen and her son Max who loves trucks and front end loaders. 21.01.2022 Wow.....The virus lockdown months for us all did not stop Sadet who was attending the Basic Sewing Course which was interrupted due to the suspension of classes in March with only 4 classes completed from the 6 class course....But the SEWING bug definitely got her during this time! She and her husband have been very busy changing a bedroom into this fantastic sewing space!!' I'll have whats she is having!!! Ha Ha.How good does it look for her Sewing Machine, Overlocker and also a coverstitch machine. As well as an electronic table with only a press will raise to correct height for cutting etc to save getting a sore back. Will post the link for the furniture etc on the pictures. Was lovely to sew with you yesterday Sadet for the Zipper Class. Thankyou for sharing Sadet and wish you many, many happy sewing hours of creating!!

19.01.2022 Finally posting a video showing you the different steps of using a sewing machine. Not the best as only filmed on my mobile!! STEP 1 The working name parts of the machine STEP 2: Threading the Bobbin (starting 21.44) STEP 3: Threading upper part of the sewing machine (32.28) STEP 4: Operation of the machine (39.12) The intro couple of minutes sound is a bit low but the rest of the video is fine. 18.01.2022 Lovely way to start up the sewing classes again with a Mother/Daughter sewing workshop. The Mums and daughters learnt how to operate their sewing machines and then construct a messenger bag. Lovely day sewing and making memories together!

With only 4 classes they now know threading, tensions, roll hem, flatlock, differential feed and many other techniques. We had lots of fun mastering the Overlocker!! So well made with the patchwork seams matching, fully lined and also with handy pockets as well as a magnetic button snap.
