02.01.2022 SWIVEL HUB OVERHAUL on this Nissan Patrol This was quite a time-consuming job when it comes to stripping, cleaning and reassembling all of the components correctly ... This patrol was suffering from death wobbles, bad clunks and a major oil leak from the front hubs. The upper bearing had collapsed which caused excessive movement and the axel seal to fail, there were signs of water contamination throughout the hubs. The brake caliper boots had also failed which caused the pistons to seize and reduce the braking efficiency. After a very long day and intense hard work, this beast is back in shape!
