24.01.2022 F O C U S When your focus goes your energy flows. This is so important with lots going on around us right now. What did you think about as soon as you woke up this morning? Worrying about the day? Things to get done? Often we can start the day on the back foot without even conciously realising it.... Let's shift our focus for the rest of the day to what we CAN do in any scenario that may be causing us stress, what we can appreciate & be grateful for, and finally how we hold ourselves as good humans along the way. Don't let distractions through you off course from living this great day. Happy wednesday!



23.01.2022 C R A V I N G S WHY?! And how do we get on top of them?? Let’s be honest, there is a LOT going on... and our habits may be slipping a little.... I have many opportunities coming up within our Community over the coming days and weeks. All you need to do is put your hand up for needing that little extra support - But for now here are a few hacks to get you back on track! SLEEP - Get enough of it! This shouldn’t be too hard at the moment..!!? Sleep regulates appetite, blood sugar and improves insulin sensitivity. It is your major line of defence against sugar cravings! REGULAR MINI-MEALS If your hunger levels are unbearable, eat more (of the right choices!) Make sure you're eating regularly every 2-3 hours & include a quality protein source in each feed, which leads to.. PROTEIN Aim for at least 20g protein per meal (eg. 100g chicken breast or rump steak, 120g white fish or 4 large eggs). Protein promotes satiety which will reduce cravings. QUIT THE SUGAR It's addictive & NOT breaking the cycle makes cravings worse. Hydration is also key. While at home set yourself up with a big water bottle and aim to refill it at least 2-3 time’s per day. What’s your biggest weakness when it comes to cravings?

22.01.2022 S E L F S A B O T A G E We had a great discussion about the topic of self-sabotage last night in our challenge facebook group. We can all easily identify areas where we might see the behaviours of self-sabotage, but our focus last night was practical solutions to break the habits that are standing between us and our personal goals!... One of the powerful strategies was to reduce the mental clutter that we may be experiencing. Whether it is a generally stressful time, you are managing working from home, home-schooling, the news, or simply this new 'normal' we have all had to adjust to, it can create mental 'clutter' without us even knowing it. Getting this mental clutter out of our heads and onto paper can help us identify what is actually important to focus on PLUS allow us to make more space and energy to prioritise these things. I would love to hear your personal solutions for when you feel yourself slipping into self-sabotage... Let's hear them!

Sure we are not through the Corona fog yet... but there is always something we can choose to be grateful for. Plenty of sunny days...... Our health... Our family... 17.01.2022 21 day Challenge results are in! Just under 1kg dropped on the scales but check out the reshaping ... This challenge for myself was all about getting back on track now ISO life is becoming a thing of the past. Dropping the late night cupboard snacking and really sorting out my daily snacks (I skipped them often) prioritising other things first before stopping to eat It was really uplifting taking back control and feeling good everyday. It rings true "you dont know how bad you feel until you start feeling good" Im feeling good and im excited for summer!! Just wanted to give a shout out to Annalie, my fellow partner in crime. We kept each other accountable this whole challenge.... we both smashed it!! If you are looking for a little support and find yourself feeling like "enough is enough!!" Reach out! 11.01.2022 S N O W B A L L Its that time of year when we have a few extra catch ups, which normally means more food, more wine and for me... more sweet treats Now, we can either let ourselves snowball out of control... or we can take control and get ourselves aware and in state Lets get into the snowball real quick. It starts with just a few small snowflakes that build and build until momentum begins to compound. ... This Christmas week our healthy choices (or not so healthy choices!) are much the same! It might start with 1 Christmas wine during the day then a giggle and a laugh with your friend or work collegue, another wine or 5 followed by a late night and a tired head in the morning. The next day you dont feel good, the voice come into your mind "You lost it yesterday, just eat the cake" or "You may aswell start healthy eating after Christmas" Little by little things begin to snowball and you lose control Lets take the snowball and throw it across the feild Yes, Christmas is a time to enjoy but just keep in mind there are a few little things you can do to help each day. For every wine, have a glass of water. Eat well before your catch ups - for my clients dont miss your smoothie - 21 nutrients, low calories it will set your body up to digest all the Chistmas "treats" quicker #secretweapon Get a walk in and some fresh air early. Its amazing how much of a difference that will make on your mindset alone "Tis the season to be Jolly" but lets just be cool about it You'll thank me later!
