25.01.2022 Welcome to LorneCare! We are a group of volunteers passionate about Lorne's natural environment. Join us for our monthly working bees on the third Sunday of each month at 10am followed by a BBQ. We work along the foreshore from North Lorne to the St George River and Queens Park, and also conduct an annual Lorne foreshore clean up on New Year’s Day.

10.01.2022 At long last, we are able to work in the Stony Creek Nature Reserve. As well as weeding and some restoration work to do after the bridge replacements, we have some welcome planting on our agenda. Gabrielle O'Shea has delivered over 70 plants as well as stakes and guards. So we will have plenty to keep us busy and we need a good roll-up. For our planting activities we have our normal trowels, but if anyone would like to bring their favourite trowel, they won't go amiss. I ha...ve a mallet for hammering in the stakes, but another one or two will help. We will meet in the Stony Creek Car Park at 10.00am on Sunday 15 July. Hoping for a great turn-out on Sunday, Alain
