The mod grass and sand filling were completed today and the nets and net posts will be installed tomorrow ready for play on the weekend!!!!!! 20.01.2022 The banter has started! The fishy fingers of our friends at the pier still have self belief and thats a good thing. But what they dont have is golf prowess and irrespective of all the excuses, the final specific results from last year were only withheld due to the courtesy of the Country Clubbers to avoid embarrassment!!

19.01.2022 Strong fields have hit the fairways for our 57th annual open tournament and some very popular winners have merged over the opening days. The ladies open scratch was won by Dee Stewart, who although an Anglesea member will always have Lorne in her blood, and the mens open scratch won by Simon Trickey to take the double on the back of his South Coast 4BBB scratch win. 19.01.2022 This SUNDAY 16th FEBRUARY is our GOLF CHALLENGE DAY. Sponsored by OTWAY BOOTS. We are having another crack at the snowflakes up at the Lorne Country Club. Last ...year they took the score cards into an office, locked the door, shredded them and then came out and told us we had been beaten. I have appointed a team of auditors this year so that wont happen again. If any of our members out there can swing a golf club please put your name down at the bar or email us. We dont want to get done two years in a row. We will be having a barbecue and a beer cart will be operating during the game. See more

19.01.2022 It is with much excitement that we announce that the Lorne Country Club Tennis Courts are getting a complete makeover. Over the next couple of weeks, our current En tout cas Courts 1 and 2 will be replaced with Synthetic Grass Courts. Whilst there will be some disruption during these works the end result will be a completely upgraded Courts 1 and 2 which will see the Club well into the future. We anticipate that the new courts will be completed by early November. As a conseq...uence our planned Cup weekend mixed doubles may be rescheduled to Monday 4 November 2019. The Lorne Country Club Committee would like to thank everyone in advance for their patience over this period. A sneak preview of what the courts will look like is shown in the attached photo:

19.01.2022 A great South Coast 4BBB tournament on Sunday with 44 in the field and the afternoon cloud breaking away nicely. LCCs favourite son Simon Trickey and his partner David Foster were victorious!!!! Well done Simon and Dave

04.01.2022 Without doubt the highlight of our 57th Annual Open Tournament was the inaugural victory in the 27 hole mens scratch event by Simon Trickey. Holding aloft the Mark Trickey Memorial Cup for the first time was an emotional moment for not only Simon but for all had known Mark and how much he had done for his family, our Club and our town - Continue to Rest In Peace Trick!!!!!!
