03.01.2022 Hello There, So how is everyone coping? It certainly has been a challenging and uncertain time full of swift changes and anxiety. During this time we encourage ...you to be gentle with yourself and with others and please know that there is no right or wrong way to handle this at the moment. There will be moments of fear, anxiety, frustration and panic. Move through these and recognise them as being real and perfectly normal but you don’t need to dwell here. There is a mountain of tips out there to help you survive this so we will keep our list short after all who needs to add too much more to an already overwhelming day. * Take time out even if it’s just a few minutes to catch your breathe. * Inhale some your favourite essential oils to help trigger your body to relax the way we like to use them is applying small amount (diluted) on your wrist, then rub your wrists together so the oil is wiped onto your hands and warmed up. Cup your hands over your nose and mouth and take 3 deep, slow breathes right into your stomach and lower diaphragm. This can allow the body to reset the stress reactors. (Why your ‘favourite oils’? Because we believe your body will know what is right for you right now.) * Let’s also see the joy in the small things in life. Having gratitude and being aware of it can change your perspective on events and helps us keep our shit together. * You’ve got this!! And together we can get through this! Please note that during this time Serenity Plus’s shopfront will only open intermittently and we would encourage you to not visit the shop without phoning beforehand. We are trying to keep numbers down in the salon and the shop to comply with health guidelines. We are happy to deliver locally or post items if you are further away.
