06.01.2022 Acai berries are a quite unique fruit, containing healthy fats and being relatively low in sugar. They are full of antioxidants from anthocyanins which also give them their purple colour. Acai berries contain many trace minerals as well as plant compounds. Here at Los Vegos, we only use PURE acai for our acai bowls and smoothies. Pure acai is not very sweet so we usually add a little pure maple syrup to sweeten it up a bit. Our standard acai bowls are made on a bed of our d...elicious homemade granola and topped with seasonal fruit. Note: Many places make their acai bowls with cheaper acai pulp that has been adulterated with sugar and other additives such as guarana. Next time you buy an acai bowl or smoothie make sure you ask if they use pure acai!
