25.01.2022 You don’t have to love it, but if you want to rise above and be someone different to who you are now - someone you know you can be, then you have to JUST DO IT. This is a great message from one of the best! When difficulty hits what will you choose? To be honest - I haven’t made the best choices with eating lately and I’ve paid the price. I’ve had to push and get up to train. I’ve had to walk past that cupcake that seems to be staring at me and say NO. I’ve given in at time...s - but I won’t let it be me all the time. Like Mr. Ali - at times I hate the process but I know I want to become better than who I am now. So today...I’m saying NO to everything that might comfort me (chocolate, cake, fried food etc) so I can become my own CHAMPION... I will fall...but I will get up and keep moving forward. Join me!

21.01.2022 Dinner!!! Red Chicken Curry with Kumara, Broccoli, Chicken, Coconut Cream, Milk, Red Curry Paste, Ginger and Garlic! Was sooo good! $21.50 for the whole lot so that’s $2.15/meal so so good! I bulked it up with the vegetables so no rice for me. 21.01.2022 Yuuuuum!!! My favourite food is pasta! This is a great winter warmer and filler that will go a long way. My healthy Spaghetti Bolognese. Onion, Mince, Mixed Vege’s, Chick Peas, Cannellini Beans, Beef Stock, Tomato Paste, Tin Tomato and Fettuccine the beans help bulk up the meal and provide heaps of goodness. Have less pasta and it will give you a lot of meals. I have 10 and this recipe cost me $11.50 which is $1.15 per meal. Later today I’ll be making a chicken Curry! It definitely is hard to eat healthy on a tight budget but I’m coming up with ways to get around it and not just eat the same food and not let it be too carb loaded. #health #lose2winmealprep #spaghettibolognese #healthylifestyle #mealprep #prepared
20.01.2022 20 Meals - Red Chicken Curry and Spaghetti Bolognese. $33 total which comes down to $1.65/meal. Try getting that somewhere else. I always had the excuse ‘Healthy Eating is too hard and expensive’ which is true to a point. But when you are tight on money - try and find ways. I used canned beans and frozen home brand veges and bulked my meals up and used less meat then usual because it’s too expensive for me at the moment. 19.01.2022 I’ve been online tonight learning more about Polynesian body types, eating habits and then discovered this. 9 out of the top 10 countries in the world that have the highest obesity rate are in the South Pacific. I know our populations are significantly smaller but still - it is bad. Ever since colonisation in the islands by European’s in the 17th and 18th centuries and teaching our people their way of cooking. With more resources and variety of processed foods due to trade,... our diet has steadily declined. This is some information I read tonight; ‘Polynesian people are descendants of those early mariners that crossed the great waters and became the original inhabitants of the South Pacific Islands. In order to survive those long cold oceanic journeys, their Polynesian bodies evolved to develop maximum muscle building capabilities as a means of generating and preserving body temperature. This was a direct adaptation to an environmental factor. Those that could not adapt died, whereas the survivors carried with them genetic advantages, creating a hybrid body of sorts, capable of performing enormous feats of physical labor, on very little calories, and very little water. Through the evolutionary process of natural selection, Polynesian bodies can become the ultimate muscle building powerhouse, or an unsightly storage system for excess energy and water weight. Polynesian bodies can build muscle more efficiently because they possess slightly lower metabolisms, and have a genetic propensity to store more water. Over 70% of muscle is water. This is a wonderful adaptation for gaining muscle mass, but slightly detrimental when the desire is to burn body fat, and flush subcutaneous water. Polynesian bodies also possess a unique hormonal environment that allows muscle gain to take place more effectively. 09.01.2022 The last time I took a change room selfie was in 2012 haha. I needed new clothes and wanted some shorts and saw t-shirts on sale. Was thinking and hopeful about fitting into a 4XL but thought - why not. I’ll try a 3XL - and it fit. I couldn’t believe it. I walked out of the house with a 7XL t-shirt today, a size I was ashamed to say and now I’m 4 sizes smaller. ... I got emotional and excited. Took off and bought 4 shirts. I forgot shorts that’s what I really needed haha.

07.01.2022 Food Glorious Food! You can find pics of food anywhere. Pics of #mealprep anywhere. But what’s the story. What’s the ‘why?’ I always believed that anything I went through. All the struggles and hard times. When people around me would change. The environment around me changed. When I became overwhelmed...the only thing that was a constant. Only thing that didn’t change...was food. I had a terrible relationship with food. This year I’m finally learning how to have a healthy rel...ationship with food and good habits. I’m learning how to face my fears and meal prep has taught me more then how to eat healthy. Besides teaching me new things in the kitchen, It has helped me stay accountable to myself. Taught me discipline, organisation skills and how to be consistent. I still give in now and then but I’m saying ‘NO’, more times then I’m saying ‘YES’ and that’s what matters. Progression and not Regression. #lose2winmealprep is all about that. How to stop the cycle and how to start learning and creating new habits.
