21.01.2022 <3 REUNITED <3 FOUND - DOGS X 2 - AIRLIE BEACH - WHITSUNDAYS REGION - 17/9/20 I have found two dogs in Airlie Beach that appeared to have escaped from their h...ome/yard on Kara Crescent. They appear to be a female black Staffy and a male white Maltese X. Both have NO collars. They were running along the road and almost got hit by some cars. They were taken to Orchid Valley Veterinary Surgery for microchips to be scanned. The vet clinic was unable to get in contact with the owners and contact details linked to their microchips appeared to have not been updated. 09.01.2022 SIGHTING DOG LETHERBROOK WHITSUNDAY REGION 20/9/2020 (1.00AM) Last night we found a dog near letherbrook turn off about 16km south of Proserpine at 1 am... last night. We pulled over and the dog ran straight up to our car, we went to get out to see if it had a name tag to no available and it jumped straight in my lap. We rang the council and spoke to the about what to do they said leave the dog in the pioneer park ( we left the dog with sufficient food and water and a towel to lay on) in a fenced off area. We called security to let them know. We could do no more as we were just driving though. I hope someone has found this dog and it is now reunited.
