25.01.2022 Who else keeps flashing back to where they should have been? Shout out to Bendigo Health Regional Critical Care Conference, which would have been held in the last few days of July.

22.01.2022 Big idea? Here’s the process we follow to turn our client ideas into reality: 1. Imagine what your event looks like, who’s there and how they feel. 2. Create a concept from these ideas, it doesn’t matter how big, adventurous or wild. 3. Develop the ‘must haves’ or special ideas that make you different.... 4. Grow your concept into a plan. These steps provide a foundation to implement operations, budgets and your pitch for support. This is just the beginning.

18.01.2022 If it seems unusual to launch an event company at a time when there are no events happening in the world, it’s an excellent indication of where our minds are at right now. Lost Cause Events has been waiting in the wings for almost two years, that overlooked love project that keeps taking back seat to everything else happening at Tough Cookie Marketing - until now. I’m not sure if having a little more time is the tipping point, or if it’s the undeniable need for quality suppo...rt for so many postponed and cancelled events across the industry, but what I do know, is now is the time to launch, to help people and start to create magic again. Whilst the event service is stepping away from the Tough Cookie title, the same service, big ideas and making the impossible possible is still here - and will be, even better. From event resurrection, support negotiation, operational management, event development, brand design, guest lists, ticketing, great food, drinks and entertainment - to all the boring bits that I geek out on like assistance with grant content, finance planning, risk management and running sheets - all in one place. We have awesome contractors, friends and experts waiting and ready to assist. If you can dream it, we can deliver it. We can plan it, design it, promote it and run it. // Pic thanks to Kate Monotti Photography - Hands thanks to Finn from The Dispensary Bar & Diner, providing a gin tasting at the Greater Creative Bendigo launch event. Event concept design, management and delivery provided in July 2019. Kath.

Registration will be available from Monday. We’re looking for all the incredible talent, products and tech ideas that we can contract in when designing conferences, festival, galas, pop-ups and more.... Even if you’ve never played in the event space before, we want to hear from you. Creating unique and engaging new experiences in places never considered before will be needed in the coming months. Watch out for an update Monday, and register for The Syndicate.

14.01.2022 July this year has certainly looked a lot quieter that the last 5! All of our love to the Australian Sheep and Wool Show team, who would now be recovering from another successful show mid-July. And to all of you who attend Women of Wool every year, we missed seeing you!... Looking forward to 2021.

13.01.2022 Lost [verb] unable to find ones way. Cause [noun] a person or thing that gives rise to an action, phenomenon, or condition.... Events [noun] a thing that happens or takes place, especially one of importance. The perfect combination of needs, desires and action to create something amazing.

08.01.2022 Uncertainty is definitely unsettling and stressful; but it may also deliver a little more planning time. We’ve been using this time to think about doing things a little differently, and how to make sure we can still deliver what our clients and their guests need. Every idea has merit and every speed hump can be driven over.
