20.01.2022 Lost dog buffy update, Ok, just this minute a fellow dog owner has just called me to say he has just seen buffy and nearly had her close enough to touch, before she ran from other dogs barking, this is excellent news but not just that she ate 1/2 a pound on mince at his house !! After the big rain we had and saw nothing I thought maybe she had moved on, this is the best news I’ve had all weekend fantastic she’s eaten well and not fled from the place Well done Chris and to Buffy for trusting a non-chaser. Chris said he heard some thing out back, he went out and saw her but ignored her and pretended she wasn’t there, she came right upto him and as he was about to pat her she got spooked by his dogs and ran away!! Proving the theory of trust and not chasing. Tomorrow is another day!

18.01.2022 Has any body seen Buffy today? We went out at 445am with the help of some of trinity’s friends and searched the Hilliards Park and polini wetlands but didn’t see her, I then went to the other side of the train track and searched that area .. my concern is the amount of people chasing her has pushed her away from this area making it very difficult to find. Chasing or calling her is now not some thing I recommend, it is a trigger to run ! after doing some research I found this article on this exact situation ... please have a read it is informative and could be the essential key to Buffys return. 11.01.2022 Oh my god !!! I cannot thank the whole community enough, thank you soooo much to every one !!! Trinity and the team (sorry I forget names too easily, you are amayzing for the help and positive energy to carry on the search... My son just saidyou guys rock! I second that .. I am a bit emotional at the minute so will update later ..best day ever when your stray dog decides to go home!!!
03.01.2022 Lost dog update Thanks to a couple of friendly dog walkers I saw buffy and she was close enough to hear me how ever she did not respond to my voice and once again fled! The sad thing is now I feel that calling her name is the trigger for her to run!! ... If any one does get to see her please do not call her name, if you could just call me and keep your eyes on her from a distance that would be the best move. She has been circulating the hilliards Park so this must be her safe environment please to not chase her or follow her into the bush, if she leaves the bush (safe area ) we may never get this close again ! She is now on day 5 with out decent food so she is looking very weak .. We have to build her confidence again by not chasing. Are there any friends here that live on the estate or back into the bush ? Could you pm me please? My idea is to put her beds out with some clothing so as to hopefully get her scent back and maybe gain some trust . I appreciate every ones help on this matter .. with the public I would not be even this close Thanks Jon Sorry if some of this is repeated most of my posts are while on the run:)
