20.01.2022 The Gift of Kindness To Edgar Alan Pig, a humble being, a wise muse and a dear friend. You taught me the gift of kindness and because of you, I strive to be a ...better version of myself each and every day. So reads the dedication within the much anticipated first book by Edgar’s Mission Founder and Director, Pam Ahern. Each and every day I am struck by the beauty, intelligence and splendour of the animals I share my life with and I hope that by sharing their journeys, people will come to realise some stories change your life, some events change your life but a single act of kindness can save a life. We hope you can join us for the worldwide launch of ‘The Gift of Kindness’ at our World Animal Day Celebrations on Friday October 4th in Federation Square Melbourne, where you will also be able to purchase one of the very first copies of the book! If you are not able to make it on the day, you will find The Gift of Kindness available through the Edgar’s Mission Online Store and all good book retailers after the launch on October 4th. Want to make sure you don’t miss out? Pre order your copy here (to be shipped after the launch date): www.edgarsmission.org.au/shop/gift-of-kindness/ We sincerely thank Penguin Books for helping this much awaited book see the light of day.

06.01.2022 UPDATE!!! These precious doggies were adopted in November. Please see their Facebook page to follow more of their story: https://www.facebook.com/brotherlylovep...ups Pictures are worth a thousand words, but this one might just leave you speechless. Earlier we posted a picture of Jeffrey, who is blind, and his brother Jermaine, who has dedicated his life to be Jeffrey’s loyal guide dog. Here they are as they sleep, holding on to each other. The unconditional love and devotion these two dogs show is positively inspirational. Jeffrey and Jermaine are STILL waiting at shelter Operation Ava in Philadelphia for their hero to come rescue them! Please open your heart and home to them! For more information or adoption inquiries, please contact Operation Ava at (215) 240-1240 or visit their website www.operationava.org.
