25.01.2022 Last Wednesday I received a call regarding a ring that was lost in the canals at Busselton back in January. After some discussion it was decided that a search was well worth the effort. This ring was lost in about 4 meters of water from the side of a vessel moored in the canal. A very slow dive search through the silt and limited visibility was commenced and within 15 minutes the detector sounded, the ring now resides back with its proud owner where it belongs.
23.01.2022 If anyone knows who may have lost this watch at Hillary’s Boat Harbour recently it can be claimed at the Hillary’s Police Station. The watch is still working and had only been in the water a few days when it was recovered.
21.01.2022 Ducks bike The day started with the usual wander along the shore line with my trusty Minelab Excalibur 11 metal detector. I had wandered out into chest deep water when I spotted what appeared to be a piece of tube just below the surface. As I approached the remainder of what this was started to appear and from a slight distance and the impaired vision from the object being underwater my first thought was that it could have been a large ray sitting on the bottom with its wing...s up. On closer inspection what was revealed is indeed to date my largest find with a metal detector. There were indeed some strange comments and looks as I walked this submerged bicycle back to dry land onshore. There is a saying all, well most detectorists know and that is: Expect the unexpected You just never know what your about to find next. 20.01.2022 If you own this watch or know whom it may belong to it was found in shallow water at the South Beach dog exercise area. The watch has been handed in at the coffee shop, Bistro 21.
20.01.2022 Two rings were found in shallow water at Hillary’s boat harbour today. One 9ct yellow gold ring with small diamonds. The second a very old fine yellow gold ring with a small ruby. If you own either of these or may know the owner please contact Greg at Lost Jewellery Finders. These rings will be advertised for a few weeks and if not claimed will be handed into the Hillary’s Police Station.
20.01.2022 This young fellow lost his wedding ring here at Mullaloo beach whilst out body boarding one week ago. He called this morning after seeing the Facebook page, we wandered down went out into waist deep water to where he remembered losing it and within about 40 mins the ring was recovered and returned to the finger in which it belongs. Never give up hope in being able to find lost goods they don’t travel far across the seabed it’s just the depth of burial that changes.

18.01.2022 This type of message I never wanted to write publish here, or anywhere else, but it has got the better of me and here it is. I spend a great deal of time wandering the Perth metro beaches and everyday come across sights like this. For this rubbish to be here it’s obvious that there are still many that don’t get it at all. All I can say is: COME ON AUSTRALIA WE MUST BE BETTER THAN THIS... Send it and share it with everyone you know (For those that may wonder, this crap was picked up and placed in the bin that was about 50 meters away)

14.01.2022 Mike sent me this info regarding his lost watch and that makes all the difference in recovering lost items. If the search area can be narrowed down it makes a huge difference to the success rate. This is a good lesson for all to take on board and utilise when something goes a miss. On the spot accurate info can’t be beaten.
14.01.2022 Well finally went out detecting feeling positive and WAM hit the absolute JACKPOT Say no more
11.01.2022 A few days after Australia Day, January 29th I was searching for a lost necklace at South Beach Fremantle. Whilst wandering in the shallows with the metal detector a lovely young lady approached me told me she had lost a gold Medical Bracelet whilst walking along the shoreline. Following the unsuccessful necklace search I spent an hour wandering the shoreline in search of the gold medical bracelet, again it was unsuccessful. This morning I decided to head back and have a third search for these lost items and as soon as I entered the water the detector sounded off and there it was, the gold Medical Bracelet. Just goes to show what Mother Nature covers up she also uncovers when it suits her so never give up on a lost valuable. The bracelet is now back with the rightful owner.
09.01.2022 These two pedants were recovered at South Beach today, there is still the chain that held them missing so if anyone hears of a fine gold chain being found down that way please make contact with me.
08.01.2022 If anyone has lost, or knows anyone that has lost an Omega watch in Hillary’s Boat Harbour contact Greg at Lost Jewellery Finders WA. I have recovered one from the water there this morning but it’s been down there for sometime. This is a unique Omega Seamaster professional Diver watch so someone should be missing it.

04.01.2022 Lost my watch in the surf and Greg was able to find it the next day! Blew my mind that this service existed and so grateful for Greg's effort. I can't recommend these guys enough! Many thanks Greg.
03.01.2022 With no lost targets to search for and the weather good for diving this lot came out of one of the popular swimming areas along our PRISTINE coast line. The lead goes to the recyclers and I manage to remove enough to pay for my dive gas.
03.01.2022 Greg is an absolute legend of a man who helped find my wedding ring in the ocean yesterday, just off Gnarabup beach. He travelled on short notice from Perth arr...iving early morning and spent several hours systematically searching the area in challenging conditions. My wife and I can’t thank him enough for helping us in our time of need! I can’t speak highly enough of Greg, he’s such a kind-hearted and determined person - I would thoroughly recommend his services for anybody in a similar situation. Thank you Greg!! See more
02.01.2022 Well it’s been sometime since I’ve been on here. The Covid 19 situation is now not helping but the main reason for my absence is: On Feb 26 I underwent major open heart surgery so it has left me off my feet for a while. Close to full recovery now and by the end of May I will be back swimming and carrying out normal activities. Until then I need to stay home (like all of us) and follow the rules and guide lines as laid down by the government and our local authorities. The first thing I will be up to as soon as authorities allow is to venture back out to the gold fields to capture some more of what’s pictured below. Take care and all the very best to all of you.
