18.01.2022 Farmer's Whinge I feel like I'm just screaming into the abyss. Facebook decided to rob me yesterday and it's really disheartening. They've turned their backs on small business, on the little guy. ... About a year ago, when they changed their algorithms to "apparently", make it more personal; It's been complete and utter silence from new viewership. The only way to grow my audience is to pay money or for my followers to s h 4 r e a post. I can't say the word or else Facebook will stifle this. I can go into the analytics of why I think yesterday's post was a winner. But it would just drag on and become redundant. Have you not made enough money yet Zuckerberg? If you really care about making Facebook personal, then remove paid advertisment altogether. Work off engagement of audience percentages. I don't know maybe I'm wrong, it's just frustrating. I can get nearly 40k views on TikTok, with a couple of hundred followers. Than on Facebook, with nearly 6000 followers and 7 sh4res, my post barely reaches 600 people and 400 views. Riddle me that!

05.01.2022 Farm Update MARKETS CANCELLED THIS WEEKEND! Sorry for the inconvenience. Well, everything has begun wrapping up for the year. My prolific kale crop has started to flower, the nutgrass is back causing chaos and it's getting late in the season for any new plantings.... Farming is all about planning for the future. Right now, I haven't had any luck with seed germination and weed control. Rather than pushing into summer, putting next year behind. I'd much prefer to start preparing for 2021. It's going to be my year! The recent rain was great, although, short lived. The earth is dry again, the road dusty. I may have to don the ol' dungarees and perfect that raindance . Markets will continue through the summer, with the little variety I have and what I can source from local growers; Plus the organic certified produce! Also new opening times, more info to come.
