13.01.2022 For those of you following our fight to save our cafe. The Supreme Court case is happening tomorrow. The business man is taking our landlord to court for allowing us to build fixed seating & planters, changing of the shop front, putting in the cofffee hub and installing aircon (so we could make the unit a comfy place for all our customers) As Cafe owners we wanted to improve what was there before us & to offer a great place to eat drink & meet friends & family but turns ...out he doesnt like ppl enjoying themselves we guess. WE HAVE BEEN ORDERED TO TAKE IT DOWN BY 1 LANDLORD AND ONE BUSINESS OWNER IN THE VACINITY WHOM DID NOT WANT IT THERE. THE RESIDENCE IN THE APARTMENTS ALL VOTED FOR IT TO STAY, ALAS WE COULDN’T SAVE IT.... ALSO ONE OF THE AIRCON UNITS HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED & THE SHOP FRONT HAS TO BE PUT BACK TO THE ORIGINAL FRONTAGE, SO WE ARE SORRY FOR ALL THE DISRUPTION. MONDAY THE 29TH THE SHOP FRONT WILL BE TAKEN OUT & REPLACED , WHICH MEANS WE WILL LOOSE OUR COFFEE HUB WINDOW FOR ALL YOU TAKE AWAY CUSTOMERS . WE WILL BE OPEN AS USUAL.
