11.01.2022 Who knows what these colour changing delicacies are? (Aside from being one of my new loves ) After a year away from working with my crystal friends, indulging my imagination and creativity, I am on the cusp of beginning again! ... In true beginner style, I will be making my own electroforming solution and conductive paint. Going right back to my beginnings of trial and error when I first delved into this art form. By the end of February my equipment will arrive. I am so excited to immerse myself in this creative medium again, working with these crystal delights and the bounty of organic materials we are surrounded by!

Discovering the secrets and stories of our land through all 4 seasons. The abundance of life, blooms and animals. Discovering the animals migrstory patterns, their silhouettes and flight patterns are so easily recognisable now. A year of building physically and metaphorically. And now, home is reimagined, in the most unpredictabl...e of ways. /Redefining and reimagining, Home is no longer a physical space Nor the culture I grew up within When I think of home, the images rush in The tidal waves of emotion move me through so many past memories Filled with nostalgia Of my siblings laughter, And the twinkle in my mothers eye The grounding presence my father brings And his cheeky dogs and their antics Yet I am here Here, in another land, another place, unfamiliar faces, a foreign world filled with new horizons and memories yet to be made And It is here, Among the seasons and cycles of life With the damp earth beneath my feet And the wind dancing through my hair As the suns warm rays caress my skin I am home When the birds sing and dance in the winds As the leaves fall and the fruits ripen When the flowers bloom and the Eagle hunts Insignificance reigns supreme For the timelessness of the mountains And the glacial lakes impose their presence Their knowing and their ancient wisdom A primoridal cnsciousness more wordly then we can ever know They are beckoning Always, Calling and reminding me, It is here, I am home./ from our slice of paradise @the end of the world
