World Down Syndrome Day is about advocating for the rights of people with Down syndrome and pushing for more opportunities.... This day is so very close to our hearts. Our beautiful Simone, we are here to stand with you and for you. From the moment you were born we have watched you grown into the remarkable women you are today. You are truly one of the most special people we know. We love and adore you more than you will ever realise. You are the kindest soul, you are so happy, caring, loveable, excitable and truly inspiring. You are always one to give anything ago and have a ball at it no matter how hard or challenging. 15.01.2022 TODAY IS PURPLE DAY Purple Day (26th March) is a global initiative dedicated to raising epilepsy awareness. Purple Day was founded in 2008, by nine-year-old Cassidy Megan of Nova Scotia, Canada. Motivated by her own struggles with epilepsy, Cassidy started Purple Day to get people talking about the condition and to let those impacted by seizures know that they are not alone. She named the day, Purple Day after the internationally recognised colour for epilepsy, lavender....
