The new Certificate of Provenance is designed to appeal to owners of Lotus cars from any era. They could buy one for themselves or receive it as a gift from friends or family. It is delivered in a distinctive For The Drivers Lotus presentation box, which contains: The Certificate of Provenance printed on premium paper, this provides a summary of the cars details including the VIN, paint colour and specification. The certificate also notes the date on which the car completed its production at the Hethel factory and was passed to the Lotus sales team. The Build Specification Letter drafted using detailed vehicle information from the Lotus archive*, this document provides more in-depth information about the car, including its engine, transmission, standard features and optional extras. A personalised letter to the customer signed by Phil Popham, CEO, Lotus Cars, thanking them for their purchase and updating them on the transformation which is taking place at Lotus. The three documents are presented in a simple black envelope placed inside the presentation box. Beneath it is a selection of Lotus collectables, including an aluminium plaque engraved with the owners name and information from the Certificate of Provenance; a leather Lotus keyring; a carbon fibre bookmark featuring the brands nine most significant motorsport laurels; a presentation tin of four badges; and a Lotus ink pen.

03.01.2022 While Lotus founder Colin Chapman was born in Richmond, West London, he was brought up in Muswell Hill, North London. His father ran The Railway Hotel on Tottenham Lane, next to the train station in the nearby suburb of Hornsey. Outgrowing the small facilities where the first three Lotus cars (Marks 1, 2 and 3) were built, Chapman moved the workshops into the old stables behind the hotel shortly after the founding of the Lotus Engineering Company on 1 January 1952. The business quickly grew and to accompany the manufacturing area a new showroom with a drawing office on the first floor was built next door. 01.01.2022 During April we are celebrating our Lotus Targa Rally, championship winners from 2019. First up Peter and Tristan Taylor, the reigning national CAMS Australia Targa TSD Champions. This father and son team compete in Peters 2013 Lotus Elise S. The car is prepared and supported by our NSW Lotus dealership Simply Sports Cars ... The Taylors won three of the four Targa tarmac rallies in 2019 to take out the national TSD Championship. Targa North West, TSD Trophy -1st place Targa Tasmania, TSD Trophy- 2nd place Targa Great Barrier Reef - TSD Trophy -1st place Targa High Country, TSD Trophy -1st place The Time, Speed, Distance category, (TSD), is a class of consistency and precision where the Driver relies heavily upon the Navigator for accuracy. To win this class a team must finish as close as possible to the optimum time for each stage and receive the lowest accumulated penalties over the rally. Peter and Tristan Tayor have run the Elise S for a number of seasons and have recently stepped up to a Lotus Exige for a new challenge.
