25.01.2022 Don't be fooled by the smiles. On this day, 8 years ago, we didn't think we'd make it home. Those of you who know me, know my sense of direction is not my strongest asset.... Yet it started out so tamely. I took the girls on a tiny trek up in the sunshine coast hinterland. Evidently the rock pools were just a little way ahead. Well we went round and round and round and several hours, snakes and tears later, eventually found the route back. Kind of reminds me of this book by Seth Godin called The Practice. And while he doesn't recommend getting lost, he does talk about the creative journey. He suggests the path is the purpose. That the power in anything is the practice of showing up and doing the work, not waiting until it's perfect or finished to start or share. As I reflected on this today, I apply it to my own imperfections: I'm horrendously slow on social media. I'm teaching myself guitar and have to play the lessons back so many times to sink in. Still not confident with all I'm doing. Some days feel like one step forwards 2 steps back. However I'm learning to trust in the process, knowing the path is there - like it was in this pic 8 years ago. The power is in the practice. Showing up. Starting, and staying consistent to your promise. Because that's where the magic happens.

21.01.2022 Today in the course I’m doing with the kids, we learned that a value driven professional de-escalates drama. Where was this lesson in my 20s, 30s, 40s....?!?@!?

18.01.2022 I’m working with several women navigating change. One seeks clarity and support beyond exhaustion to joy. The second is contemplating life beyond marriage after 23 years and the third is living independently and relishing her newfound freedom. 3 women. 3 circumstances. 3 stories. I took these photos this morning as they remind me of how it feels.... to be out on a body of water, feeling isolated and unsure. ... And then in the next instance, someone paddles beside you and in that moment you realise........you are not alone. See more

15.01.2022 http://Tuesday Tips The world you live in was created by men and women who were willing to answer the call and pursue dreams and passions of which they felt unworthy. If there is a calling on your heart then go after it. If not you Then who?

14.01.2022 Think of your dreams as helium balloons. Pick the colour. Fill them with what you love. But don’t let them go!! Tie them to you, so you can be and stay connected and reminded of what’s ahead and possible for you!!

07.01.2022 As the year draws to a close, we have a tradition of reflection, rejection and intention. Maybe you’d like to try it as well? Last night I popped Bob Dylan on, grabbed a glass of wine and cooked a vegan curry for the kids. Then we sat around over a meal and talked through 2020, ... what we’re keeping and what we’re leaving behind. We have a family tradition of setting our annual intentions and I recommend an ABC approach if you want to make your goals stick. A is for accountability - to yourself and others....what are you committed to? We’ve learned that success is less about motivation and more about dedication..... B is about belief - if it is in the realm of possibility for you, then you can achieve it... C is consistency. This one’s the make or break. Some might include your morning routine - exercise, breakfast smoothie, then attending to the big priorities first. I’ve found a helpful habit is writing my daily 2-3 intentions on one side and my to do list on the other. It helps to ensure that you don’t get caught in the busy minutiae. So ABC it. I could go on for hours. But after working with literally hundreds of women to help them feel better and live better, these applications work every time.... So the challenge for you is to ABC it. I’ll share more on these principles in the coming days, so if it’s helpful please send me a comment, thumbs up or question and I’ll make sure I expand. Happy New Year to you all!!

03.01.2022 Given its New Year, I promised to elaborate on the ABC of goal setting that our family use. A is for Accountability. The cool thing about the program we run is that you have a mentor to guide you as you change your habits to healthier ones. But it’s still really important, ... for change to be sustaining, that you be and stay accountable to yourself. Let’s face it, the buck stops with you. Our program will get you there, but to succeed, it’s important to remember WHY your goal is meaningful to you... WHY does it excite you? If the outcome doesn’t excite you, I suggest you reflect more deeply.... Because the CONNECTION will mean that a year from now, you’re not still struggling with the: fatigue, bloating, weight gain, foggy brain or quiet despair that brought you to this point - But instead, you have a system, a community, and sustainable habits, that hold you in good health, regardless of the holidays. If you want more information how we can help you eat and feel better without the inconvenience of a diet - dm me or write "more" in the comments below.

03.01.2022 Last night I was at a live performance of Christmas Actually. It was the final performance and for the entertainers, the close on what has been frankly, a really difficult year. Entertainers are by their nature itinerant. They go from gig to gig, so Jobkeeper completely missed them. ... And my heart broke thinking of how many of them still rallied to reach and entertain and serve their audiences, despite their own hardship. I know what it’s like to not have cashflow. To not be sure of the path or way forward. Sometimes you simply need someone else to point you in the right direction and show you a way. As I reflected on 2020, I’ve never been more committed to help others understand the importance of passive and recurring income streams and how to cultivate it for themselves.
