22.01.2022 ULTIMATE SCHOOLMASTER - Making News (Syd) -16.1 hh -19 yrs -Thoroughbred gelding ... Sydney is such a kind hearted gentleman, He is a true been there done that type of horse with still many years left in him! Currently being ridden by a 14 yr old girl competing 90-105 showjumping & EvA95 Cross Country. In his earlier years he previously competed 2* with Christine Bates. Syd is a great all rounder doing showjumping, Eventing, Pony club, dressage, hacking, trail rides, beach rides, ag shows, gymkahnas, state, Interschools etc. He has Done it all but his passion is to event. Not strong at all on the x country course and always pulls up with hardly a sweat up, as he is naturally fit and doesn’t get worked up. He has been selected as first reserve in the PCA Nationals in October for Eva 95 Eventing team with my daughter so would not be available until first week of October. Best suited to an intermediate rider. Syd is that easy horse to have around. -Up to date with all vaccinations -easy to catch, shoe, float, wash, worm etc -NO kick, bite, bolt, buck. 16.01.2022 Always remember that a good arena preparation gives you a head start. On Thursday night before the rain set in that was predicted we set out and raked arena and leveled out the jump takeoffs and landings. This ensures great drainage and footing for when it dries out.

15.01.2022 Introducing Chief in Command He is still here looking for his forever home. Chief has been briefly with us and in a short time shown great trainability in his... flat work. He is established in walk to canter moves off the leg well and responsive to being able to lengthening shorten in all paces. His unflappable temperament gives you an easy ride. He had his first outing only two weeks after arriving at our place and couldn’t fault his temperament. He would be most suited for a teen looking for an easy going horse to bring along or adult rider wanting a horse that doesn’t need to worked each day. He has been jumped up to about 90 cm and competed up to 70 at his first show. Has been seen to windsuck but doesn’t effect his weight or appetite He is 16.2hh 8 year old All the hard work is done with the basics and now ready to progress in his chosen direction. 13.01.2022 Day 2 of 2019 Grafton Show was a great day with placings in all classes 2nd in the 85 on after dark 3rd in the 1.05 m on Jaybee Casanova 3rd and 5th in the G...rand Prix on Act of Valor and Vision NZPH Also got to warm up the beautiful Gus for Lindsey who then went on to win supreme hunter hack. Congratulations to all the winners today I reckon it was one the best shows grafton has had for a long time. The sad note was the last trip in the green machine today, I know the old girl like the back of my hand Thanks again to Cassandra Page for her help over the weekend. 09.01.2022 Today we had our maiden trip in the new wheels that certainly didn’t disappoint us thanks Midcoast Trucks for their help and guidance with our purchase. We took 5 horses down and 6 home. The new edition is a lovely little mare bought from Sally Taylor. The ponies went well with some nice rounds at the Coffs jump Club. 06.01.2022 Our beautiful new addition to the team a lovely grey filly by Charlemagne ego z out a Belcam Agassi mare Lacona Agapantha We have also been busy with getting the team back into work with lots of lessons around the summer days and now the most beautiful rain we have seen in a long time. On our other side of the business we have been selling our feeder cows and calves and a few older cows with the market now looking a bit brighter with the rain forecast hopefully the dry times and fire worries in our area can see a time to move forward to normal times or something like that
