25.01.2022 We were sensibly, socially distanced, until #thecramp had its way with me! This incredible human, along with her darling twin sister, have been in #mylife, #mywholelife. They (and their parentals/family) are the #epitome of long-standing and selfless #friendship. They’ve stood beside me to hold my hand, behind me to push me forward, ahead of me to deflect the danger of the world, and under me to catch me when I crash. They’ve been front row from the moment I started singing o...ther people’s tunes, right thru the first times I delivered the #chaos of bluer-than-blue comedy in our country’s most remote localities, and into the now: the #era in which my life buried itself, desperately and repeatedly clawing its way back up to a #normality that might allow for #plans & new #music. I’ll get there. The good stuff that’s buried inside me will find its way out again, I have #faith in myself and ‘my circle of humans’ does too. One #step at a time, pushing thru Covid’s #bullshit, other #barriers, and #beyond, there’ll be a #resurgence. Just you wait. Oh, one last thing... #howmanyhashtags Oh and.... #thecramp LE xx See more

04.01.2022 A friend of mine approached me to be a part of something filled with community spirit. Saying Absolutely! was a no-brainer. My late husband, Shane, was welcomed as a registered volunteer Member of the NSW Rural Fire Service literally days after he died, and there’s no question he would’ve been involved in the efforts to protect the community and to clean up the aftermath. In some ways, saying yes to this project was a way I could honour the commitment that he made, but th...at he didn’t get to follow through. And while the world was crushing me, I know standing tall and focusing on the fire victims was exactly what he would’ve wanted of me. Thank you to everyone involved leading up to this release, and to those who will contribute going forward. I’m stoked to see the team’s efforts come together into something that will share hope, funds, and faith in our Aussie spirit.
