23.01.2022 This morning I was on the Womb Food Podcast with @joelle.constance talking about my experience with pregnancy loss. Sharing my journey in a bid to heal some collective shame and offer love and guidance to those who need it. Right now I am delving deep to unravel my beliefs about running a passionate and successful business, in the amazing course with @themanifestingmums . Journaling, healing and transforming. 22.01.2022 Yesterday felt like a massive kick in the guts for many! My long awaited beach walk didn’t feel quite right as we were told to ‘just wait a little bit longer’...... But alas, the reopening is going ahead following ZERO NEW CASES TODAY! I’m crying happy tears. So happy for retail, hospitality and other business owners that have been desperately awaiting this news, and I’m so happy to feel like a free person again. ... Now for the big question! Cultivate deep love for yourself and whatever the end of this path will bring. Your baby can feel this love and will learn that practice of acceptance from you. 18.01.2022 A song from our Raise Your Vibe playlist came on the other day and I got this warm fuzzy feeling. You know when you hear a song and it just instantly brings back fun, happy memories? That really brought it home to me, the power of these weekly dance parties, creating fun happy times amongst all the turmoil that is 2020. Our party last week ended with one of our smaller people shouting in ‘That was the BEST dance party ever!!’ Another beautiful person told me how one of th...e songs brought about a big realisation within her. She realised just how much she’d changed in becoming a Mother, and how much she needs to be kind to herself. The power of music, dance and coming together. It was through our first class that you motivated me to put more energy into my fertility journey. 15.01.2022 & Pain, trauma and grief will stay stuck in our bodies and minds if we don’t find ways to release and shift them. I recently came across the term ‘Post Traumatic Growth’. Well I had actually heard it before but this time it landed differently, it made so much more sense.... I believe these difficult experiences occur in order for us to learn, grow and transform into a better version of ourselves. Many other women that have experienced a loss have told me how their journey has helped heal aspects of themselves allowing them to show up as the Mother they wanted to be. Learning how to find your way through heartache, grief, pain, discomfort; aren’t these amazing lessons to pass on to your children who will no doubt endure suffering of some kind like every other human? From my experiences, realisations and professional learnings, I know that: Ignoring your pain or wishing it away in an instant is not the way through, I wish it were that easy for us all! Instantly wishing for another Pregnancy to forget this one will only impact your experiences further down the line. This suffering will only manifest in a different way down the line. This is your time to heal. The practices of Yoga and a Meditation are designed to help release stored emotion, pain and trauma from our bodies. Physically releasing these emotions allows room for more healing energy, more peace and more joy. 14.01.2022 The quality of your breath is so essential during pregnancy. In my online workshop next Wednesday, you will learn specific breathing techniques that can reduce stress, lower your blood pressure and improve sleep quality. Through your breath you can find stillness, resilience and power; in turn letting your baby experience this too. During birth, having a comforting tool to lean into is a beautiful way to restore balance and perseverance. Some practices are important in the ...early stages of labour, others are used to help guide your baby gently through your body during that final stage. 12.01.2022 Peace on Earth begins with Earth. You know now what? Birth-workers experience trauma during birth too. And I believe the fact that many do not have the time/space/tools to process this trauma that the cycle continues. One of the greatest lessons from my @dynamodoulatraining was learning how to unpack my own trauma, nourish and heal myself so I can facilitate others to do the same.... 11.01.2022 Hoping this year brings lots of growth

11.01.2022 It is the last day of Birth Trauma Awareness Week and I just recorded this meditation for the birth workers here in Melbourne. We focused on connecting and opening our heart space to create healing energy in our bodies, and beyond. The electromagnetic field of the heart can actually be measured a few feet from the body so this practice is powerful. We visualised sitting in circle to emanate this healing to those in need. You are welcome to listen back if you would like to off...er some healing to those who have suffered or are suffering from birth trauma. Our energy is everything, take this time for an important cause.

11.01.2022 I was all set to take a nice photo this evening, and make a post on how we’ve managed to end this year on a high. Instead we had to pack everything up in a rush (after 1 night away), and make it back home before the borders close tomorrow! I will say the two days of chilled, peaceful vibes was enough for me to get the ball back rolling on my passions and motivations! I’d lost a bit of that this past month, so it’s really nice to have that energy back again .... Wishing everyone health, connection and fun in 2021, because if we’ve learned anything, we know that’s all that really matters

09.01.2022 Thinking of these three men today on Fathers Day: Wilson (Alex’s Dad), it was your two year anniversary on Tuesday and we’re thinking of you a lot today too. We would’ve loved to hear your thoughts on the craziness of 2020. I’ll forever appreciate the Dad you were to Alex and getting to know you in your final years. Gerry (my own Dad), this has been the longest time I’ve gone without seeing you and it’s getting really hard not having a plan of when I’ll get home. Looking for...ward to hearing what songs you’ve added to your repertoire when I finally make it back! Alex, thank you for every little thing this year. You’ve helped to honour our little Alo in so many beautiful ways, and I couldn’t have done any of this without you. You’ve really shown me how wonderful you’ll be as a Dad when we have our little family . Happy Fathers Day to all the amazing Dads I know! And special love to those who are missing their Dads or missing being Dads today.
