I have photographed it with Green foliage and without any it has been there for many years. I just love it! ... Was a beautiful start to the morning on Box Beach, Port Stephens. I love the beautiful soft glow that illuminated the picture perfect scene. 23.01.2022 2020 has been a mixed bag of happiness, sadness, depression, achievements and disappointments, but is it what it is life isn’t all lollypops and roses without the hardships etc we would never truly appreciate the good in life. One saving grace for me this year has been my photography, I just love it and will never get enough of it. Photography is my oxygen, my very essence I live and breathe it. I am so proud of my photography journey and achievements in 2020. I am so th...ankful to live in such a photographic area and to have visited some amazing places captured through my lens. I am always humbled and proud to receive recognition of my work, it really is a confidence booster I am the biggest critic of my work and really struggle with feeling of not being good enough or doubting my work always (struggling with depression and mental health issues is hard at times, and really does affect every aspect of my life often). Give thanks to mother earth for all the blessings and beauty she surrounds us with. I most of all wish for Peace in the world, peace in your hearts and love, happiness and health for 2021. 14.01.2022 M A J E S T I C Whales are such majestic creatures. We went out whale watching on Saturday morning on Port Jet Cruise Adventures, There wave rider is awesome. I highly recommend them if you are in Port Macquarie. We set out through the heads to find some whales, it was threatening rain, and the whales seemed to be nowhere to be found. Then we found them, at one point we had a pod that hung around the boat for about 10 minutes or more, slapping their fins, a few breaches and j...ust being curious getting very close to the boat to a point you couldn't fit them in the camera frame. This Whale breached before I had chance to even think about it. Was really stoked to see the Bird also in the frame. Such a wonderful experience getting up close and personal with their beautiful whales. Thanks to Craig our Skipper for an awesome ride, and Jodie Lowe's Marine Animal Photography for the company. WE will be BACK!
