13.01.2022 My youngest is turning 12 this week & she’s requested Matt Sinclair’s Asian Wonton Soup for her birthday dinner! Have you tried it yet? It’s sensational. I love the flavours. You must try it! Buy the wonton wrappers from any Asian grocery shop or be adventurous & make your own! They’re super easy. What’s your favourite Asian dish?

12.01.2022 Feels so healthy making our own lemonade! Takes literally 2 seconds to make!! Switch the sugar for an alternate sweetener if you wish...fresh & delicious! Tip: use your simmering basket to strain the lemonade..& then use the remains to make a 2nd batch.

12.01.2022 Sous Vide anyone?! Loved this in the Thermomix last night. The salmon was so tender & perfectly cooked! What have you Sous Vided? NB: Sous Vide is a French style of cooking - where food is gently cooked in a water bath in a vacuum sealed bag at a lower temperature to ensure even cooking & tenderness. An amazing function of the TM6!

Love that I can use the filters on cookidoo (our online recipe platform) to search for ingredients I have in my fridge! = no waste & saves $$! So for dinner: *satay noodle salad (to use up my red cabbage & broccoli) *broccoli salad Both fresh & delicious!

05.01.2022 Have you checked out yesterday’s new improved PRE CLEAN function on the TM6?? It’s incredible - add 1 litre water & squeeze of detergent & choose how dirty your bowl is! Here’s the harlequin custard cleaned up in no time! Love it when I have less washing up!

04.01.2022 My eldest daughter’s 23rd birthday today. Have had fun making the hazelnut meringues minus the banana toffee filling. Used chocolate ganache & cream with each layer filled with strawberries. About to make a berry coulis to serve with it. All made in the Thermie of course...my 2nd pair of hands!
