25.01.2022 Big sky: outback SA.

25.01.2022 Late afternoon at Merna Mora back in 2008. Looking across towards the western side of Wilpena Pound. Oh how I miss this place. #mernamora

24.01.2022 A fine vintage location which showcases a classical ballerina.

23.01.2022 A selection of my recent bird photography. A Nankeen Kestral, Noisy Miner and Rainbow Bee-eater in flight, and a Superb Fairy Wren with its lunch.

22.01.2022 I had a wonderful afternoon shoot with my beautiful niece Makayla. Thanks for sharing your time with me.

22.01.2022 A collection of White-browed Woodswallows captured near Pinnaroo, SA.

18.01.2022 Very Proud of this achievement.

17.01.2022 A bright yellow bloom brightened up my dull winter's day, while walking around Anstey Hill Rec. Park, SA. (No idea of the botanic species sorry?).

17.01.2022 I was privileged to watch a Nankeen Kestral feeding a lizard to its chicks. Captured near Mannum, SA.

16.01.2022 A country home for the galahs, taken through a rusted out water tank in the Barossa Valley 2018.

16.01.2022 As the storm rolls in! Abandoned cottage near Kapunda, SA. Love the dramatic sky.

15.01.2022 from a shoot with Tendai in the Adelaide Botanical Gardens.

14.01.2022 A recent portrait of a delightful lady.

14.01.2022 An old bloom handing by a thread from the new ones. Taken at the 500mm focal length, (on a 200-500 lens at F11), to achieve a blurred soft background.

14.01.2022 New Holland Honey-Eaters in flight.

13.01.2022 Autumn colours in the Adelaide hills. Thanks to model Bree Knibbs.

11.01.2022 This picture is a composite of 4 photos of Rainbow Bee-Eaters captured recently near Pompoota, SA. They have incredible agility and the ability to contort their bodies in mid-air flight. They are also a spectacularly coloured bird and fun to watch.

11.01.2022 Merna Mora Station, Flinders Ranges, SA.

10.01.2022 A Spotted Pardalote befriended me at Anstey Hill Rec. Park, SA. I had the pleasure of photographing this little beauty for 5 minutes in warm late afternoon light. It stayed within 3-5 meters the whole time. Gorgeous little birds!

10.01.2022 The isolation of late has made me more appreciative of the outdoors and nature. To me this picture shows the harsh and delicate sides of mother nature: the beauty of this colourful little wren picking around in a burnt out tree stump.

09.01.2022 Three photos from the Barossa Valley, SA. A White-Throated Treecreeper, Striated Pardalote and Golden Whistler with catch.

09.01.2022 A portrait from a recent shoot with the charming Agathe.

08.01.2022 A pair of tiny and busy Striated Pardalotes captured on a moss covered tree stump near Mt. Crawford, SA.

07.01.2022 This was the result of a collaboration with ballerina Agathe and myself. Taken indoors in extremely low light, the mood and textures makes this a successful picture.

06.01.2022 Merry Christmas and a happier and safer new year to all. These are three of my latest works.

06.01.2022 I love the early morning light on this Flinders Ranges scene of the Arkaba Woolshed and the Elder Ranges in the background. Taken during the 2019 Light on Land workshop.

05.01.2022 "Fleurieu Scene" is one of my older landscapes taken in 1990. Digital copy made from a Fujifilm Velvia 32 iso transparency. Taken with Nikon F3 camera, Nikon 80-200mm F4 lens on tripod. Ah the good old film days! I recently revisited this exact location and found this valley has been subdivided into small holdings with houses and sheds everywhere. A real pitty!

04.01.2022 The mighty River Torrens taken up the Gorge Rd, towards Castambul, SA. Captured just be fore sunset on a dull day with zero wind. A 1.5 second exposure at F8 with a 24mm lens. I love the flow of the water and the warm pastel tones of the deciduous trees.

04.01.2022 Magnificent creatures; A Wedgetail Eagle in flight.

03.01.2022 Another day and another morning photograph of Mt Alek, from the Moralana Scenic Route, Flinders Ranges, SA. Merna Mora Station, via Hawker, SA offers so many photographic subjects and possibilities.

02.01.2022 A study of the kitchen in an abandoned farm house near Tungkillo SA about 14 years ago. The rich warm colours were caused by late afternoon light coming through a side window. Love the textures and paint on the walls.

02.01.2022 Striated Pardalotes captured on a cloudy wet day at Williamstown S.A.

01.01.2022 Shots from a recent Autumn shoot with the lovely Bree Knibbs in the Adelaide Hills.
