15.01.2022 Mothers Day - a bliss ball a delightful handmade gift of deliciousness from my boys. A simple coffee in bed and handmade cards and chocolates was perfect for my Mothers Day. . . .... But I find Mothers Day a bit hard as I have a fractured and fractious relationship with my own mother. Perhaps this bliss ball is a visual analogy - a tough brown ball of possible shit, dressed up with colourful hundreds and thousands on the outside to look good. That pretence of a smiling happy relationship with love and acceptance, when really it bites hard and is conditional on meeting expectations. This is my raw ball!
