25.01.2022 Please welcome our first bottle fed kittens of the season. These little guys were handed into Casey Emergency Vet on Wednesday. Luckily our wonderful bottle feeder Tiff (who specializes in our super small babies) had space in her kitten unit. They are around a week old, attempts have been made to find the mummy cat without success ... We are throwing these babies a Kitten Shower and we are hoping you can help. He likes cats more than humans and would love a home where he had a kitty sibling to hang out with. He is independent but will tolerate a cuddle every so often. His xrays and notes will be reviewed by a third vet and hopefully we can start his treatment plan after his ear clear up. Teddy is loving life with his foster mummy Lucy. 08.01.2022 I want to tell you about a special wee boy who came into care the other day. This is Teddy and he’s 10 months old. A lovely lady moved onto a property and has found a large number cats living under her house and around the property. She has been desexing, feeding and taking care of these cats and has actively involving rescue groups to help rehome as many as possible.... That’s where Teddy’s story begins. Teddy was found with a badly deformed right front leg and a broken tail. We don’t know what has happened to Teddy (an accident or attack as a kitten is the most likely) but it’s been like that for some time and to top it off he has an infected ear. This beautiful boy will require an amputation of his front leg and possibly his tail too. He’s going to require months of treatment,recovery and physiotherapy. Luckily for Teddy his new foster mummy Lucy is a vet nurse and he’ll have access to amazing care. Our current quote for his leg to be amputated is around $1200 and that’s doesn’t include his tail or follow up care. We are asking for donations to help this wee boy have the best possible life after a hard start. All donations over $2 are tax deductible. She put her own plans on hold to go and save these guys. The reality of rescue is most of us rescue groups are already full with undesexed kittens/cats You may also be surprised to hear that most rescue groups help each other, trapping/rescuing, transport, we share food donations and resources.... Silvermist has thrived in his foster home and is now looking for a furever home where he can continue to learn about love and trust. 02.01.2022 This is Little Biscuit. This lovely boy has been living rough for sometime. After being rescued by a lovely young man, he’s now in our care. Little Biscuit is about 3 years old and very friendly. Unfortunately this wee boy has a whole host of medical issues which include being very underweight and a badly infected mouth.... He’ll need some feeding up and recovery before undergoing surgery. Send Wee Biscuit your Well Wishes xx

01.01.2022 Just like Claudia , Cheetah and Silvers have had a hard life. After their elderly owner passed away and left 15 cats , they were left to fend for themselves. Meow Rescue managed to rescue all the cats from the estate.... Starving and malnourished they were then saved from going to a rural pound, These beautiful cats have defied the odds and are ready for love. Can you open your home and heart to these senior cats Silver and Cheetah are super loving. Both still require some dental care which Meow Rescue will pay for but we are looking for a home or homes to call their own or a foster family who can take care of them until they can be adopted Do you have space?? Both are around 12 years old and are amazing. Not dog tested, would suit a quieter home and are Fantastic with other cats and humans. Interesting in fostering them, then complete the form below.
