The name Grace.. meaning... Eloquent or Beauty of form, Kindness and Mercy. We all know someone with the name Grace. Here at Warren, NSW, we particularly know a person called Grace Brennan and yes, the name that created @buyfromthebush a well known selling platform that has thrown a lifeline to small businesses in regional Australia. Grace indeed needs a medal for all that she has done in injecting vitality back to the business communities who are doing it tough in this environmental hardship. 16.01.2022 So far 21,600cm [216 m] of elastic has been cut for face masks! All elastic from North, East, South & West regional NSW has been secured. A trip to Sydney and back again [12 hours] for supplies. There is NO more white elastic in Australia, any where until more is shipped in! To be honest with you, we are halfway. Friends have offered to help. Its quite a community of helpers to get these face masks made! ... We understand the wait when it comes to internet purchases is usually instant or within a week. Two weeks is ridiculous! All we ask is you hold the line with us..with all that is presented at us with this pandemic. 09.01.2022 Bringing the JOY...thank you for your tested patience, your support and positivity in this 2nd wave. Heres an UPDATE to what is happening in our world. The @louwebbcollections Workshop has had to relocate from Warren to Sydney. Annabelle The Dispatcher [Year12 student] has received yet again more grief with another beautiful girl in her cohort passing away. So to get over the line, the team including Marg The Ironer have relocated to the school. Elastic - We stil...l have a supply, at some point we will need to change to ties or jersey loops. [Not yet so dont worry]. The Australian animal fm are becoming limited. Wombat Blue [Out of Stock] Wombat Pink [Out of Stock] Koala Blue [limited] A new fabric design is the Kangaroo Blue which is the best replacement for the Wombats. It is the same as the Koala design but a Kangaroo. Some people just want a face mask and the design is not a concern. REFUND... If we cant supply the fabric design. If the wait is too much we understand BUT having a parcel arrive in lockdown can bring JOY. So we will still push on becoming face masks zombies in this pandemic world. Keep posting your positivity. Im a Hatmaker/Farmer married to @farmer.dunc with three children. Im From the Bush called Warren in NSW. We at #Warren are experiencing environmental hardship such as the #drought #dust and now the unprecedented #smoke . Thank goodness no . The good news is we have secured ELASTIC WHITE COTTON and as much of the MATERIAL DESIGNS as possible. These are the new TOILET PAPER situation!!! 01.01.2022 The GOOD NEWS is that @louwebbcollections has handmade 2000 beautiful face masks to Victoria!! The NOT SO GOOD NEWS is that many still have not received your Orders. Yes..after 4 weeks and we know that we have tested your patience! Definitely not the normal way we conduct business. The SOLUTION is we have out sourced the hand making of the face masks to sewers and we are hoping that it all will be done and dusted [bush expression] as soon as possible. Yes the communic...ation back to you has been tragic, I have struggled to respond to Facebook and Instagram messages and do prefer one platform and that is EMAIL [indeed l have missed a few days]. What do you do, consume all time responding OR sewing to get the job done! Thankfully I have had Meg to help with Facebook. Q: Why didnt we tell people when they first ordered it was beyond our capacity and to order else where? Well first orders went virual pandemic and we had the fabric and the elastic [liquid gold]. Quite frankly, needed the funds as during the bush fires we the farmers at Warren were still in severe d r o u g h t. Any way thats behind us now and we are in the next challenge.
