19.01.2022 So proud of our children this morning for their contribution to our Anzac Parade ... we first showed the children an Anzac parade through technology and spoke about the meaning of Anzac Day ... (we also read Anzac Ted).. the children were so excited to participate that we practised first inside around the room to be ready for when we went outside to our garden... Two by two they lined up and together as a group they carried out their wreaths and poppy flowers they have all been working so hard on and placed them in our garden as each one stepped away and bowed their heads ... they are so cute .. we are so proud of them as we know their parents are too .. all our love and best wishes for Anzac Day x Love Miss Jess and Miss Andrea
19.01.2022 Dental Health Week! About Dental Health Week Dental Health Week, which takes place in the first full week of August, is the Australian Dental Associations major annual oral health promotion campaign. Its aim is to educate Australians about the importance of maintaining good oral health in every aspect of their lives.... Today combined together Miss Jess and Miss Andreas Groups! Today we provided the children with pictures of teeth with germs on them. We asked the children to use the tooth brush and tooth paste provided to brush the germs off the teeth. All the children were very curious and straight away started brushing the dirty teeth. While the children brushed the teeth we sang the song This is the way we brush our teeth. This activity promotes children to understand looking after their teeth and take responsibility for their own health. Andrea Reck

15.01.2022 National Sorry Day 26th May 2020 National Sorry Day, or the National Day of Healing, is an annual event that has been held in Australia on 26 May since 1998, to remember and commemorate the mistreatment of the country's Indigenous peoples, as part of an ongoing process of reconciliation between the Indigenous peoples and the settler population. Today to show our respects to all those families who were seperate all those years ago we used our hands to paint the Aboriginal flag.... We used black, yellow and red the traditional Aboriginal colours. At group time we sang the song Taba Naba which is a childrens song originating from the Torris Strait Inlands. The children followed the actions with me and listened while I sang the lyrics to them. All our children showed they can show respect for diversity and engage with all activities! Miss Jess and Miss Andrea
