25.01.2022 Have I told you lately that I love you????...... Family. This is me with my Mum & big sis. They have lived my nightmare with me 24 hours a day for the last 10 months. They’ve both cuddled & loved me and had my back for as long as I can remember. They have never judged nor taken sides and have always been there for my girls. I am so very grateful for the love and support they have shown me. I’m nearing the end of one chapter of my life and so very close to starting a new one. We speak every day and when one of us begins to cry we quickly try to make each other laugh then hang up and say, let’s talk tomorrow. Never ever take your family for granted.
23.01.2022 A N I M A L L O V E RS. Thank you to everyone who donated towards my blanket drive. Your donations were overwhelming. We visited the Gosford Pound today with jackets, collars, leads and towels. If only I could bring them all home. If you can spare half an hour on a Wednesday or Friday at 11am for an induction course, you can walk the doggies any time during opening hours. I’m so happy and hope they will be a tad warmer tonight. What a wonderful cultural experience...I have been blessed by priests & the gods, was draped in marigold garlands & bathed in the oils of prosperity and love, made a wish at the Ganges river and have been truly touched by the warmth of the beautiful Indian people. Thank you to everyone who helped make this trip possible, I will be forever grateful. I am looking forward to arriving home with a renewed appreciation of how lucky I am to live in Australia, have my health, 2 beautiful daughters, family that love me and an amazing group of friends. The most joyous part is knowing and believing that Karma is in fact real.

21.01.2022 It was a miserable day for me today until I found a voucher I had won at the @rescuehelicopter ball thanks to my gorgeous friend @suzanne.hunter.1 Dragged sis along to sit in front of the fire before school pick up. What a lovely little find so close to home @avocabeachhotel Heidi looked after us with lunch to share as well as a sneaky bubbles. They also provide blankies for us oldies and also offer a courtesy bus from Terrigal on the weekends. Support local coasties! Food was yummy! 19.01.2022 Who doesn’t love a blow dry? Is there anywhere on the Central Coast that offers this type of service? I personally can not blow dry my own hair because it’s like sheep hair so it often goes straight back in a ponytail. The only catch to this deal is $18 is debited directly from your account each week. Ok Coasties....who’s in? Great idea @mylkhairlounge
18.01.2022 Who doesn’t love a quiet Friday night? I am feeling so very privileged to be house and doggie sitting for my beautiful friend and her baby Hugo! Tonight I’m enjoying a glass of @chandonaus I bought some old fashioned carnations from Woolies & cut some green leaves from the garden. My favourite TAHAA caramel and vanilla candle by @glasshousef from @montazestores is burning and I’m not sure I’ll need the diamanté champagne stopper from @havenathome but it does look sensational. He was extremely friendly, nothing was a problem, he was happy to stop for unexpected toilet breaks as well as allow us to change our final destination at the last minute. And put up with giggling girls! I would highly recommend his services!

06.01.2022 And that’s a wrap... Farewell Terrigal, 6 months of my life I’ll never get back! Onwards and upwards! Big thanks to Dellie at Century21 Erina. I didn’t purchase my first home in my 20’s to be renting in my 50’s! Passed my outgoing inspection with flying colours!
06.01.2022 I never considered myself to be a hoarder but having lived in the same house for the past 20 years....look how many clothes I have gathered? I have never thrown a thing out! It’s time to pack up and move on... although I’m yet to find my forever home it is time to let go of the material things. Things I thought I needed, things I thought I’d wear, clothing I thought I would one day fit into again.... I have gathered a group of beautiful Central Coast women feeling the same way I do. We are going to be at the Terrigal Scout Hall on Saturday, each of us trying to earn some pocket money. At the end of the day I will be donating everything to Coast Shelter and other women’s refuges and to those less fortunate. New beginnings are slowly emerging for me and I’d love you to come and say hi!

I was worried I hadn’t heard from a couple friends of late then found myself asking...had I done something wrong? A lady once told me to throw 9 grains of rice from my left hand though the doorway underneath a white paper fan every time I leave the apartment! It will bring me more work & more money! The only thing that has become evident so far is that the caretaker is now able to have sushi rolls each week!
