20.01.2022 Hello to all our Swimming Families and loyal customers The new COVID regarding the outbreak in the South will not affect our pool operation or swim school at this time as we are adhering to the QLD Health Regulations. This new outbreak is a little reminder to everyone to ensure we are all following the correct guidelines to avoid our state being in lock down again :( Please ensure you are following these guidelines when you arrive to our centers 1 Always remain 1.5m dista...nce 2- Use hand sanitisers always 3- If paying by card use PayWave where possible and avoid using cash where possible for payments 4- One spectator (Where possible) 5 Leave personal belonging at home and bring minimum items to the pool 6- Only use showers if absolute necessary and try to have them at home (We understand people going to work after or keeping babies warm ) 7- Continue to prebook your swimming sessions and ensure we have correct contact details in the case of an outbreak, and we can contact you. 8- If you have any cold or flu like symptoms, cough, runny nose; please stay home. Our centres have purchased temperature Checking Machines as extra precaution and if you temperature is over 37.5 we will ask that you go home and rest and self-isolate until you fell better or have been COIVD checked. Our pools have many elderly and disability clients and many with respiratory issues so this added precaution is for your own safety and the safety of the community. My dad is currently fighting this cancer for the second time and I want to bring more awareness to the men in our life in the hope they will go and get a check up; it could save their life when detected early. 03.01.2022 Hello Thank you for the many emails and concerns regarding the water temperature. We are aware the temperature is below 30 degrees and we are working with the #...townsvillecitycouncil to ensure this temperature rises to accomodate our elderly, disability and physio clients along with our learn to swim and walkers. We thank you for your patience and please be kind to our staff as they also want the temperature back to the normal 32 degrees. The current temperature is on 29.4 and if half of your body is out of the water we suggest to wear a rashie or something warm until this is rectified. We do realise for rehabilitation this temperature is too low so appreciate your patience.
