25.01.2022 Zyka's Kitchen have been a huge supporter of Love and Hope Redlands during the pandemic by donating hundreds of meals for community members in need. Now, it's our turn as a community to help Zyka's get back on their feet by supporting their business. The food is to die for and prices are reasonable too. 22.01.2022 When you have finally escaped a Domestic Violent situation with 4 children and all you have is the clothes on your back, the children each have a small bag of clothing, you finally find a place to live while you undergo chemo for your stage 4 breast cancer, the house has no furniture; the kids have no toys or books, they have one school uniform each, then we come to the end of the school year and you are presented with 4 book lists to be filled for the beginning of the year, ...what do you do? feed your family ? buy beds and chairs for them? buy yourself some clothes from KMart or an Op Shop as the chemo is making you lose a lot of weight? or do you pay for your medication? This family called on us at Love and Hope Redlands, we supplied food for them all, we asked around for furniture for them and we will now need to find the funds to purchase the school items on the children's book lists. This is a sad but true case, unfortunately, we see many cases similar to this one, and this year the need has tripled, we see the heart break far too often. This is why we have started a GoFundMe page as we work with the schools to identify genuine families in need and supply just one of their needs, the children's books! Each child in Australia deserves to start school each year on an even footing with their class mates. Please help us by donating what you can and sharing our GoFundMe to your family and friends so we do not turn children like these away with a equal start to the new school year as their mates.

18.01.2022 This morning we received a donation from Cleveland Commonwealth Bank, courtesy of their Community donations program which is a monetary value given to local charities to help continue the work they do. Thank you to Cleveland CBA, your generosity is amazing and we are so very thankful to have received the Cheque this morning. $500 is now added to our school booklists program!!!

15.01.2022 Once again we had an overwhelming response from Calvary Christian College food drive, with an amazing amount of nonperishable foods for the hampers that are given out to the families in need. What an amazing group of students, well mannered, courteous, and so very generous to our community during this difficult time. A huge "Thank you" to Gaelle Murhi and team for organising this amazing food drive. And, a massive congratulations to 11A who gathered the largest number of donations.

12.01.2022 This week will be opening Thursday and Saturday 9am until midday. Have you checked your kids last summer clothing yet to see if it still fits. When you do and r...ealise how much they have grown, put it in bag and drop in to our place. We run a community clothes swap. The idea is to save good clean clothing etc from being thrown into land fill. We love to recycle. If you don't need to swap please consider donating your children's old clean items. Donations can be dropped off anytime inside gate under awning . 05.01.2022 According to the ACOSS 2018 poverty report, a shocking 1 in 6 Australian children live in poverty today. Last year we provided 54 Book lists in the Redlands, this year the request are up to 218 @ $150 each, staggering isn't it. Love and Hope Redlands Inc. believes every child deserves a equal chance to education, many children start each school year without any school equipment that would normally allow their education to be on a level footing with their peers. Education is... the way to break the poverty cycle. To reach all the children who urgently need this support, we need your help. Can you help us change the course of a child’s life? Maybe a child you know, the child next door, your child's friend at school. Please donate whatever amount you can, every cent helps. People raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for fake reasons, boob jobs, political events etc. These are our children! Our future!
