25.01.2022 I still get goosebumps when I am standing there with my couples. It’s such a beautiful intimate moment to share and sometimes I just can’t hide my excitement. The way Joseph looked at his bride, Ellie spoke a thousand words. Photo compliments of Luke Middlemiss Photography

25.01.2022 There may be restrictions on wedding ceremonies at the moment. But whether you choose to postpone or go forward under the current limitations, one thing remains the same.......You marry your soul mate. #goldcoastcelebrant #legalsonlygoldcoast

23.01.2022 Levi and Jade were so happy to become husband and wife in a beautiful ceremony in my garden gazebo last week. A big congratulations to this beautiful couple #goldcoastcelebrant #justmarried

23.01.2022 When Johno and Bec asked if it was possible for me to co-pilot the ceremony with Bec’s uncle, I said of course. Although Bec’s uncle couldn’t perform the legal obligations of the marriage ceremony, he provided the special personalisation of a close family member and I just stepped in for the legal parts. It’s a great option for couples who really want that special someone to marry them. With the beautiful Riverwood Weddings as their venue, the newlyweds were over the moon

23.01.2022 With restrictions easing, bookings are coming in fast as couples are excited to once again get their wedding plans underway. 2021 is going to be huge but there are still some dates available. Reach out to me today.

22.01.2022 Natalie and Bryan chose to wed on a beautiful yacht called Encore anchored at Carters Basin infront of the Palazzo Versace blending their family of 7. I joined their closest family and friends on the beautiful Broadwaters of the Gold Coast in a heartfelt intimate ceremony.

22.01.2022 Marnie and Gareth just couldnt hide their excitement as they walked out of High Church Brisbane officially as husband and wife. #brisbanecelebrant #goldcoastcelebrant

21.01.2022 Its such a beautiful moment to watch the grooms face light up as he sees he bride walk down the aisle. When David saw Rebbeca walk towards him you could feel the love they shared. This beautiful image captured by Photography by Zee says it all. #goldcoastcelebrant #brisbanecelebrant

21.01.2022 Elopements were once referred to as a marriage conducted in a sudden and secretive fashion and usually involved a couples flight from their place of residence with their loved one with the intention of getting married. Nowadays it is more commonly referred to as a Secret Wedding or Elopement and is the simple decision of a couple that want to symbolise their love and commitment to each other through a legal marriage ceremony but chooses to do so in the presence of just their Celebrant, each other and a couple of witnesses.

21.01.2022 There are many reasons why couples decide to affirm the wedding vows. Perhaps they would like to acknowledge a significant anniversary or they would like a different style of ceremony this time. Whatever the reason it is a beautiful expression of the dedication and commitment the couple have shared over the years and an opportunity to create new vows and memories that deepen their connection to one another. Reach out to find out more

20.01.2022 Another beautiful elopement in my garden gazebo as Andrew and May said I do before their two special family members. They will celebrate a traditional Thai wedding at a later date. #goldcoastcelebrant #goldcoastweddings

20.01.2022 I love children being part of the ceremony and Steph and Werners 3 beautiful children were so excited to see their mummy and daddy become husband and wife. Love this moment captured at St Bernards Hotel - Mt Tamborine

19.01.2022 Even though the thought of rain on your wedding day might increase your anxiety levels, it is actually considered good luck and symbolises fertility and cleansing. Also an opportunity to get some great brolly shots.

19.01.2022 COVID-19 didnt stop Fallon and Jarreau fulfilling their dream of getting married. In a beautiful intimate ceremony with me practising my social distancing they became husband and wife. #goldcoastcelebrant #elopement

19.01.2022 It was a beautiful moment when Dennis surprised Shanae by singing to her as she walked down the aisle towards him in the chapel at Braeside Events Gold Coast. Covid had already put their plans on hold last year but the chapel was full with their dearest family and friends and FaceTiming overseas. Congratulations to the newlyweds

18.01.2022 All set up and ready to perform the Naming Ceremony for Szidonia at the All Sports and Community Club. A Naming Ceremony is a beautiful alternative to a Christening and the Naming Certiticates for both parents and Godparents are a special keepsake.

18.01.2022 Every Valentine’s Day I have the honour of marrying a beautiful happy couple. In 2021 Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday and is the perfect time to say I do in either an intimate ceremony with just the two of you and two witnesses or a ceremony that includes your closest family and friends. Why not get married on the most romantic day of the year!! (and a great excuse to never forget your wedding anniversary).

18.01.2022 Natalia and Matt shared their wedding day with their closest family and friends at Sir John Chandler Park in Indooroopilly. I love the way The Love Archives captured this beautiful moment with their adorable son Ari wearing matching outfits with his dad.

17.01.2022 I have spent many hours on the phone this week working with my beautiful couples who have had the devastating realisation that their wedding plans could not go ahead. Some have chosen to postpone until a later date and others have chosen a simple legal marriage ceremony now followed by a celebration at a later date. If you haven't already reached out to me, please do. You are not alone. Let's work through this together. #goldcoastcelebrant #legalsonlyceremony

17.01.2022 Elliot and Diana did not let Covid19 stop them from getting married last week. The restrictions made them have to change their original plans but the ceremony was perfect in every way. Intimate and shared with their closest family members. Congrats Mr and Mrs Scott

17.01.2022 Today marks exactly 5 years ago since I officiated my first wedding ceremony. It was just a small elopement at the Botanical Gardens and just as I was signing the marriage certificate a bird crapped from the trees. It went all down my arm and on the documents. They say it’s good luck when that happens!! Fast forward to today, and I have performed over 500 marriage ceremonies, many Naming Ceremonies and a few funerals. I have met some amazing people, some of my brides have bec...ome great friends and I have watched families grow. I have proudly celebrated marriage equality and even married my soul mate a few years in. This year has been a challenging one for sure, but I remain just as passionate about my role as a Celebrant as I was that first day. I still tear up when the bride walks down the aisle, my heart melts when I see children play their part. It’s a very rewarding career and I wouldn’t change a thing. I feel blessed to be part of such an intimate moment and I am humbled to honour and celebrate the life of one passed. The choice to become a Celebrant five years ago is the best decision I ever made. I look forward to being part of many more ceremonies and am excited about the future ahead.Thank you See more

15.01.2022 My role as a Marriage Celebrant extends beyond just the legal formalities. A true romantic at heart, I love to meet couples and learn how their love story unfolded. Through relaxed conversation I like to gain a real sense of the couples vision and collaborate to design a ceremony that reflects their love for one another and creates memories that last a lifetime. 13.01.2022 FRIDAY 20 NOVEMBER 2020, is National Celebrants Day. A special day to raise the profile of a professional Celebrant and acknowledge the value Celebrants provide in ceremony. It’s not just about rocking up on the day to help with the I dos. There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes and a legal responsibility to uphold as a Celebrant. I take pride in my role as a Celebrant and really love it when couples take the time to extend their gratitude and appreciation. Wishing all my fellow colleagues a wonderful day

03.01.2022 Well its time to say goodbye to 2020 and reflect on the year that was. My husband and I set some pretty big goals at the beginning of this year but little did we know that a pandemic would alter our plans and throw us off track a little. But despite COVID impacting our lives and of course my role as a Marriage Celebrant I feel blessed to still have officiated 72 marriage ceremonies this year. To all my beautiful couples, thank you for persevering through the challenges. Weddi...ng dates were postponed, plans were changed and some forged on determined to marry their "one and only". I was still lucky to conduct some beautiful Naming Ceremonies and honoured to officiate the funeral of my dear friends grandson. I look forward to what 2021 brings and to help my couples get excited about planning all over again. Wishing everyone an amazing start to the New Year and I look forward to all the exciting possibilities that await. xx See more
