We know the best way to connect and vibe with vendors is when they are right in front of you - so many couples feel an instant connection with that photographer/celebrant/florist at our fairs and lock them in straight away! . So it pains us that the future of in person events is uncertain for now. 24.01.2022 No, your wedding can't look like this anymore, at least for the foreseeable future . Last night the government announced a raft of new measures to stop the spread of COVID-19. This includes limiting weddings to the couple, celebrant and witnesses - a total of 5 people maximum. . The one person per 4 sqm rule applies. So you would need to get married in at least a 20sqm room if you had the maximum of 5 people in attendance.... . How long will this last? Unclear. The government statement reads "We will be living with this virus for at least six months, so social distancing measures to slow this virus down must be sustainable for at least that long..." . Based on this information, couples with weddings planned up until at least September 2020 should be considering alternate plans. . TIP 1: Take.a.deep.breath. . We get it. Planning a wedding is stressful at the best of times, and noone expected to be dealing with a global pandemic that is, quite frankly f*#king up everyone's plans.... . First things first - pause, hug your spouse to be, and look at your situation realistically. Are you meant to be getting married this week? In a month? In 6 months?
