06.01.2022 This was mine and my gorgouse clients first step towards lifting 10 years of red direct dyes and dark pigment out and stepping towards lighter and more natural tones. I used a free hand technique over a traditional foil as her hair has proven to be temperamental and delicate over the years I've had the pleasure of looking after her and I have no interest in damaging anyone's hair, and they do say slow and steady wins the race. Fun fact- a traditional foil will produce a higher/cleaner level of lift but has to heat up in the foil to do so, free handing techniques will still produce lift but is a little softer and more gentle on the hair(depending on formulation ofcourse ). Stay tuned as we transform her hair over the next few months I am so excited!
