19.01.2022 It was our wedding anniversary 2 days ago. 8 years ago, we were fortunate enough to have met Colin, he took amazing pictures to capture our lovely day. My husba...nd, son and I live in Townsville, we had our wedding in Palm Cove 7 May 2011. In February of this year, we had an unprecedented weather event which caused major flooding in Townsville, unfortunately our house flooded before we had the warnings to move property and prepare for flooding. Our house was inundated at waist height with flood waters and held the water for 4 days. We unfortunately lost all of our treasured possessions including our wedding pics and the USB containing them all. It was so heartbreaking to know we had lost so many memories. I contacted Colin, a few days after we were able to get back in our house to inspect the damage, to ask if he had our pics by the grace of god stored somewhere. Colin started the search, he couldn’t find it on his local drives, but he wasn’t going to give up on searching. I understood that it may be hopeless and was preparing to search all my friends Facebook accounts to get images of our special day. The uncanny thing is my parents had lost all of their wedding photos too, unfortunately they didn’t have Colin! A few weeks later I heard from Colin yo let me know her scoured his drives and found our images, I can’t tell you how amazing this was and how amazing Colin is to have kept our memories. Colin, I can not tell you how much you getting these has meant to me, we lost all the other keepsakes from our day, but this is just too magical! Thank you

03.01.2022 Had a lovely morning running my photography workshop in the @friendsofbotanicgardenscairns this morning. I’m so grateful for the encouragement my first few guests have given. It feels so good to be able to pour my immense passion for capturing light into people who are interested, to see their appreciation, and immediate results.
