20.01.2022 Love you dad but it’s also self care Sunday I’m testing my face mask out with the mixture of honey instead of water. It took awhile to get the honey to completely mix with the face mask powder, and was very sticky to apply - I’m glad I didn’t try to apply it with my brush. Here’s hoping that it washes off easily and that my skin feels amazing afterwards ... So apparently I take forever to write a post as my timer went off before I posted. I’m happy to say it wiped off easily with a face-washer. And I did a further little experiment where on one side of my face I simply wiped off the mask off and on the other half I wet my fingers and rubbed gentle circles in the mask before wiping it off. There is not a massive difference in the two sides as they both feel amazing but the side I exfoliated with the gentle circles does feel softer This has been a happy successful experiment and I’m glad my research lead me to it The benefits of using honey on your face: honey opens up your pores to cleanse them and get rid of blackheads. 19.01.2022 Story time Today’s story is about my new Limited Gift Tin, and how it came to be. Side note: I was going to record this so you wouldn’t have to read a lengthy post but technology and I aren’t exactly friends, it pretty much just tolerated me ... These gift tins came about because my beautiful friend Sona from Stella Candles was getting organized for Christmas and she came across these tin and thought they could make a great addition to her stock. She happily placed her order and a few days later when they arrived she noticed that she had ordered the wrong size, she had gotten the large instead of the small. She buzzed me to see if I wanted them and to be honest I didn’t see it working at first, but I’ve come to trust her vision, and I brought them off her. After playing around with some ideas of what could fit into the tin, I finished with what I believe is a beautiful self care pack. Inside you have : a face soap bar a Rose Quartz crystal a jar of face mask powder a Chill Out essential oil blend and a square bar of soap - either in a natural honey & oats blend or a fragrance of black raspberry and vanilla The total package value is $43.00. 10.01.2022 It’s my husbands turn to be the test bunny For most of his life he has suffered with Psoriasis on his legs. He has seen many specialists over the years and has tried a number of different medications and diets, all of which have ended the same way, with nothing changed and him feeling ever more frustrated. 5 nights ago, I asked him if he would be willing to let me try to help him out with my herbs, and as you can see he said yes ... There is 5 days between the top & middle photos, along with better lighting, and he hasn’t done anything extra to help hydrate or exfoliate the skin, so I am super super excited that it seems to have made a difference after just one application The bottom photo is what my mixture looks like. I have mixed the herbs with sunflower oil, and gently rubbed in circles when I applied it.
