25.01.2022 WORKSPACE CONDITIONS - Working in unpredictable temperature conditions is just not ideal and will result in mixed results in retention from client to client. Ever have a random client have really poor retention, out of nowhere? If your studio conditions are unable to be consistently monitored and maintained/corrected you are leaving yourself open to random results. Maybe that dry hot breeze is curing your glue wayyy to fast on some lashes. Maybe your hit with the bl...aring afternoon sun at your 3pm client raising our temp 2-3 and you haven’t been able to adjust for that! You get my point! Many clients are not even sure what they are trying to articulate. 20.01.2022 So ladies, welcome to the new world at the moment. I’m sure a lot of you are still in or just coming out of a state of shock from this situation and are seeing everywhere that you need to do this, you should be doing that, take this time to grow blah blah blah and yes that is absolutely true. BUT right away? I don’t think so! Take some time to yourself while you can! This is actually a little soul crushing and you are absolutely allowed to take a bloody minute to recover ...from it. We are a week in. 18.01.2022 OIL IS NOT THE ENEMY This is a message I really want people to hear, know, understand and un-block you on your way to truely understanding what is causing possible retention concerns. Oil will not in any way ‘break down’ or lubricate the bond of the adhesive to the natural lash. Our adhesives are formulated using products/chemicals that actually work with oils! 07.01.2022 This set could have two different directions 1) As done here we needed to keep inner lengths short as to not encroach on the brow and natural visual aspects of features. And choosing to maintain that length ratio as we were working with a minimal space. 2) Keep inner length as is but bring the longest length up a touch into a more modified round map to keep inline with her brow shape and structure. Both looks are or would have been amazing but I wanted to keep this cho...sen styling to help keep eyes looking bright and open rather than enclose that gap between lash and brow! Understanding how to work with layers and creating density is key to giving that mega bold look without overwhelming the features with length! Wondering if we can keep our lifestyles as they were, eat the way we ate and went and done the luxury things we done that was once our way of life. This to us has been hard to deal with in some ways. But it hopefully has made people think of all the people that this on a muc...h larger and more dire scale is their everyday struggle. Can you just imagine not having a nice safe house to live in, or the finances to afford yourself our monthly sanitary products or food to feed our beautiful kids a nice meal. This is one thing I love giving my family every night, a yummy home cooked meal that fills them up and makes them healthy. 03.01.2022 That perfect dip The age old, am I using too much or not enough? Well ladies, if your having poor retention the answer is most likely not enough!!! A tiny tap on the top of a glue bubble isn’t going to be anywhere near enough to secure and encapsulate a lash/fan and will just result in a surface bond that will pop off at any moment! The aim of an open styling is to lift and open up as much of the visual eye space, so perfect for someone with ‘drooped’ eye shape, Asian eye types, deep set eyes, very large space from lash to brow and our gorgeous ladies of advancing age that need that lid lift! ... It does not work for someone with ‘bulging’ eyes or very large open eyes that will over accentuate their eyes compared to other facial features, someone with minimal space from lash to brow and in my opinion doesn’t suit male lash looks!
