25.01.2022 Half way through the process of making liquid soap from organic: olive, coconut oil and Shea butter, rice bran oil and sunflower oil mixed with potassium hydroxide (which turns it into liquid soap) and distilled water. This soap is cooked in a slow cooker for about 4 hours then more distilled water is added and the pot turned off for the night. The next day lots of stick blending is necessary to get to the right consistency. The batch makes up to 4 litres of liquid soap which... can be used as hand and body wash, dishwashing liquid and as part of washing detergent. Essential oils can be added for a multitude of uses to protect your family from bacteria and virus as well as to look after the state of your skin etc. If you are interested in learning this valuable skill to eliminate buying multiple household products contact me on 0422404712 and I will organise a workshop on how to make liquid soap. 21.01.2022 Another recipe for those who want natural, non-toxic, anti-bacterial and anti-viral products to help keep your home free from harmful germs. This is the kitchen and bathroom cleaner recipe I use: 1.5 litre water (1 cup boiled) 300ml white vinegar 60ml environmental conscious dishwashing liquid... 3 dessertspoons Lectric Washing Soda and Essential Oils of: Lemon Lemongrass Teatree Peppermint and Eucalyptus. Dissolve the washing soda in a cup of boiling water, then add the rest of the water, vinegar and about 40 mls of the dishwashing liquid, mix well. Drop approximately 2-3 mls of each essential oils into the remaining dishwashing liquid and mix well until combined. Add to prepared liquid, mix then use to fill empty spray bottles. Makes around 2 litres. Not only does it smell great but it kills nasties on your household surfaces. Cheap, easy to make and effective! See more

01.01.2022 With all the anxiety around the Corona Virus and people buying up big on toilet paper and hand sanitiser to the point that supermarkets have run dry I would like to share my recipe for a - ‘Natural, no Triclosan or other nasty chemicals hand sanitiser made with only lovely anti-bacterial and anti-viral essential oils and other non-toxic ingredients. The recipe is as follows: Using a 50ml pump or flip lid container add approximately: 1 teaspoon organic Aloe Vera gel, if you c...an’t find this use vegetable glycerine, Drop 11 drops of each of the following good quality essential oils into the bottle: Lemon Lavender Eucalyptus Rosemary Tea Tree. Shake well so the oils combine with the surfecant i.e. Aloe Vera gel or veg glycerine. Top up bottle with Witchhazel. Shake to combine and there you have it: an effective, non-toxic, good smelling hand sanitiser that you don’t have to fight the hoarders over! See more
