24.01.2022 It’s a double post kinda a night. We were going to keep it on the DL for a week or so but we don’t have to now so we popped a bottle tonight to celebrate this guy. He’s finally been registered as a celebrant and I couldn’t be prouder. It’s been a long time coming, thanks COVID but it’s finally official. Before he was on the guitar full time with @janda.events he was a full time writer with a background in advertising, so you could say he’s quiet the wordsmith. He also has a unique position most don’t have, he’s been to over 1000 weddings and has seen a lot of ceremonies, let’s just say he knows what works and what doesn’t and will only bring the goods. 24.01.2022 We are on our 6 sleep countdown of our first big wedding back after old rona. 22.01.2022 Gettin' it done with Joel + Nicole at the gorgeous @cowbell_creek just before we all went into lockdown. Can I also just say I love this old wooden keg as the signing table, I always find it so awkward with the little signing tables and chairs. Everyone's like do we sit, do they sit, do we swap around? It's just so much easier for everyone to get in on the signing action when there are no chairs. That's just in my opinion ha! You do you boo.

17.01.2022 COVID has taught us to just go with the flow and have back up plans. Kristi & Bradley had locked in the 10.10.20 with me long ago, but then well you know the rest. But they weren't going to let a pandemic get in the way of getting married on their special date. They changed venue's, downsized and even had the registry office in Sydney on speed dial but thankfully they were able to share their special day with their closest peeps. So stoked I was able to make #bristi official!

15.01.2022 So insta tells me it’s a while since I’ve posted some pics in the squares. Well I guess a full Reno in 6 weeks and being sick that entire time takes it’s toll on the body. I’m not going to lie I honestly haven’t had the energy to share on the socials because the juggle has been real and sometimes you’ve just gotta draw a line... apparently my body is telling me I’m still not drawing enough lines but that’s a work in progress. Anyhow how good was the news today with the borders opening up (soz to our Vic friends)?! I know I have some couples sighing a little relief tonight who I’m sure are pouring a celebratory I’m with you guys, this is going to make everyone’s lives a whole lot easier so here’s cheers to the next phase happening earlier and me being back on the grid and hopefully doing it on the reg

13.01.2022 Last Friday as I was prepping for my weekend of weddings I received a sneaky little DM with the most beautiful wedding gallery. I was sitting with Lola on my knee scrolling through and remembering what a bloody amazing day this was. Then fast forward to today and the gorgeous Lauren posted more pics with the caption below. I'm literally dead. Honestly you guys are everything! "Swipe across for Kim K level crying by me (the aftermath of planning 50 variations of a we...dding thanks to COVID). Also swipe for a pic of the other girl standing next to Bryce, our real life angel @lovelei_weddings who officiated the day. Lei-Ahna saved our day on 3 days notice when the last minute border closure meant moving our Byron wedding to QLD and losing our original celebrant to border restrictions (plus some family and friends - also swipe for cute FaceTime tears from my Sydney fam ). I frantically DM’d Lei-Ahna to see if she was available after we met and hit it off working a wedding together 3 weeks prior. Thankfully for us she had taken the weekend off long in advance for family birthdays and she selflessly dropped everything for us to help us seal the deal! 03.01.2022 Bridget & Adrian's wedding was our first wedding back in July with the @janda.events fam and my goodness it was so lovely to be back doing what we do with such an awesome crew. Recently I had a couple say they didn't want to write their own vows because they've been to ceremonies where it just sounds silly when couples add ridiculous things into their vows. That's totally a fair thing to say but at the same time you write what comes from your heart and what feels right f...or your relationship. Vow writing doesn't come naturally for most, but that's what i'm here for. I'm happy to guide and make suggestions where needed, but you're 100% in control of what you your relationship is and if you want to add cute silly things in, then do it!
