20.01.2022 Hello!! I thought I'd pop on to say hello and welcome to my new and old followers and explain why I've been a bit quiet on socials and on the earring making front... Well as you can see in the photo we are in the midst of building our new family home We are so excited for this and it has been a long time in the making! For the past 5 years I've lived in my little tiny shouse on our farm but as a family of 5 we are fast outgrowing it. To make my life even more busy on top of... running around after 3 kids, a hubby, farm and doing the bookwork for our super busy businesses, I've taken on the role of Owner Builder!! I am actually really enjoying this role but it requires some super planning and is consuming my days and nights fully. So unfortunately the earrings have taken a back seat for the moment, but don't fret everything is tracking well and very soon I'll have a beautiful new office/creative space ready for me to smash out all these wonderful ideas I have floating around in my head!! 19.01.2022 Here is an awesome Tip courtesy of Heidi Helyards - Studio Scraps Newletter To make your polymer clay earrings shine and remove any buffing marks (especially on dark coloured clay) use a little Vaseline! Check out the difference in this pair that I had applied to one half It really made the navy lose the buff marks and the metallic clay shine! If you are a maker and arent subscribed to her weekly newsletter get on it!!! You can order past issues so you dont miss anything... and honestly its as cheap as a cup of coffee but worth so much more in value!
