12.01.2022 I love these stacked Tahitian Keshi pearls! Having no nucleus and being nacre the whole way through gives them an extraordinary lustre. In Japanese, Keshi also means poppy which I love! Naturally occurring in the oyster, sometimes forming at the same time as the pearl the farmer knows is there, they are miracles of nature. Drilled as they are here and not along the length of the pearl, as they are more usually drilled, makes them so much more exotic and abundant! I collect ...these Keshi and love designing with them.
