22.01.2022 This will be the first of many FREE weekend community courses to help young men between 18-30 who may be looking for a more positive experience and connection to help them through hard times. Jake has been been a youth worker on the Central Coast for 15 years and has worked with juvenile justice centers, youth organisations and Government agencies. The Youth Trackers Camp will focus on building resilience, self esteem and self confidence with a view to help our local youth ...to navigate their way through the many challenges faced by young people today. The event will also aim to help participants to: merge with the elements of nature be educated on edible and medicinal native and introduced plants in NSW tips on foraging intro into native plant and wild foods bushcraft workshop tracking & survival skills: tips & practice preparation ideas and tasting the wildfood we find bush walks sustainability & the environmental awareness discover birds and other wildlife in the area campfire stories, music and gatherings Please share this event to any young men that might want to participate in this event.
