21.01.2022 9am tomorrow for our regular clean up. Join us if you can. One hour of litter collection, followed by tally and tidy for those who can (half hour) and then on to coffee and chat for whom ever so desires.

20.01.2022 Scotland, whose southern city of Glasgow was named last September as the host for the 26th Conference of Parties (COP26), has a goal to source the equivalent of... 100% of its electricity demand from #RenewableEnergy sources by the end of this year. 05.01.2022 Don Tatnell Leisure Centre has been closed after serious structural issues were found at the site, making it unsafe for use. Council is saddened to close the centre, which has served the community for 40+ years, and will now plan a new aquatic and leisure facility to serve the community.

02.01.2022 We hope you are staying safe and well. When it seemed like we might be able to get back to group street cleans, the hotel quarantine problem occurred. Now covid numbers are increasing so much that we are moving to stage 4 So it will be a while yet until safe enough to do group clean ups. Meanwhile continue to follow the restrictions, stay safe. Look after your mental health. Enjoy a walk around the block for fresh air and exercise.

02.01.2022 Last year hundreds of us met in the city for Spring Clean the City and collected much litter from the streets of the CBD. This year we can not gather in large groups, but we can remove litter from our own community as individuals or in small family groups, or as per covid rules on the day. Mark the date and be ready to do a little bit of cleaning in your own streets, then you can record the details in the Litter Stopper App. See below for details.
