17.01.2022 Spring isn't too far away now, we already have blossom emerging on our Manchurian pear trees outside the kitchen window. We finished pruning the Shiraz a few weeks ago, just need to finish off our baby Fiano and Mataro vines. We might actually get some fruit from these vines in 2021. Apparently it's a thing to put pics up of your pets while working at home, so my cute little model is helping me out. Flora is named for the Goddess of Spring and Flowers. 05.01.2022 Our Paisley Vineyard was harvested last Friday night and over the weekend Derek crushed our #deliciouslyfashionablebarossa #shiraz. We are fortunate to have picked just over 18 tonnes from our vineyard in a year when many vignerons in the region got half or less from their vineyards. The fruit looks fantastic, which is a big relief after such a dry season, so we will have some amazing reds coming from #vintage2020.

02.01.2022 A bit of hand picking to get the last Shiraz grapes from the vines at the end of each row. The harvesters often miss these vines as they stop the beaters just before the end of the row, so they don't get damaged when turning a corner.
